After a long day of driving, I stumbled on this motel. The staff was very nice and showed me the room before I paid. The rooms are still dated although they are trying with the bathrooms. The colors in the room were very bright and the bed was not very comfortable. Should you stumble on this motel and they ask you if you want breakfast in the morning, do not be indecisive. If you don't tell them you want breakfast at the time of the check in, they do not appear prepared for somebody changing their mind. They have painted the exterior with a beige which looked fine.

Not the prettiest of motels, being painted a rather strange shade of orange, a modern bland building set amongst the fields of rural Gieville The bedrooms and common areas are dated, but very clean with the rooms having a single and double bed. Did not eat here so can't comment on the food, but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and would recommend for that reason

We visited Le Bocage for one night as group on a cycling holiday. Although the bedrooms are fairly basic, they were clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us out - even providing a taxi service into Saint Lo! There is a pool (which we didn't use) and some gardens. There is also a bar area and restaurant.

Room was reasonably big. Wifi access was available but so slow that it might as well have not been there in our room. Shower was not great, but adequate. Breakfast was adequate but probably overpriced for what it was.

It took us a long time to locate the motel even though we had a sophisticated sat nav. The co ordinates were not correct so drove around the area until a helpful local was able to direct us. On arrival, very pleasantly surprised. This is a gem of a place, neat, clean with really nice rooms, restaurant, bar, small outdoor pool all neatly arranged behind fences and a really nice experience. The lady who was in charge did not speak English which was a slight issue however we were assisted by other guests.
