This was our 3rd time staying at the Novotel Bali Benoa in a beach Cabana over a period of approximately 20 years and during that time We think that the only thing that has been updated in the beach Cabana is the bed. We believe that the whole property looks very tied and has not been renovated. The holiday did not start off very well as our booked airport transfer did not happen. The duty manager was very apologetic and gave us free airport transfer back to the airport and my wife a free facial, which was appreciated. The My Drink package is a total waste of money when you consider the limited choices and the quality of the beverages offered including the coffee. We had 8 coupons and after we used 2 we requested that the value be refunded to be used at the hotel for expenses incurred the amount was 1,680,000 IDR. We also believed that the breakfast selection was average, when compared with similar hotel star ratings. We had to continually request that the waiters to remove the used plates. They walk around to try to look busy, but they do not see. They are not motivated. The noise of the air conditioner fan is very loud. you cannot turn it down when trying to sleep. In closing we were very disappointed with our week stay at the Novotel Bali Benoa. C On the last night of our stay we dined at Coco’s restaurant where both my wife’s and my order were taken. Mine was the only meal to be served. We had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes for my wife’s dinner to arrive. Upon checkout the 1,680,000 that was to be credit to our house account was not there and an annoying conversation was required to rectify the problem. onsidering what it cost us we do not believe that it was value for the money that we were charged. We WILL NOT be staying there again.

The hotel was pleasant and very accommodating. The room had very good air conditioning which was certainly needed. Our room had good views over the pool and garden.
The hotel can be expensive for food 289,000 for food (excluding tax and gratuity). We ate out almost every night as it was better food and cheaper.
If you need to have your clothes washed and ironed before going home, there is a launderette outside the hotel and cost us 180,000 (around £7) for 2 bags worth.
The beach is nice, lots to see if you have a go at snorkelling. The hotel offers kayaks, paddle boards for free use.
There is a watersports company on site too for paragliding, jesting etc.

I stayed here for 9 nights with teenage children in a family suite. We are Accor Plus Members and therefore get a discount on booking and food etc when staying here. I would strongly recommend having Accor Plus if you choose to holiday here as it gives a significant discount on the rooms and food and drink when purchased. The family suite is quite nice although the beds and pillows could have been more comfortable. The PlayStation in the children’s room didn’t seem to work, but that could be due to a lack of interest. There isn’t much to do here for teenagers and would probably choose to stay at a different hotel with children of that age in future. But it is well geared for younger children with a kids club and life jackets available for use. Our room was clean and well serviced. Breakfast is ok. Same everyday though, a little more variety would be nice. The service in the restaurants can be a little bit and miss in the evenings and at full price they are quite pricey (get Accor Plus for a discount). The spa is nice, but expensive for Bali (get a discount with Accor Plus). This hotel does have a nice Balinese feel about it and it is safe outside of the hotel with a couple of supermarkets within a very short walk for all the things you forgot to pack! The Bali Collection is a short ride in a Taxi. Waterbom Park is about 30 mins away in a Taxi. All in all I would recommend for families with children under 13 or couples without children wanting a quiet place to holiday. The pool table is a nice bonus. On a side note this hotel has a brand new general manager who started in Jan 2020. I think there is lots of scope to really improve this hotel and it will be interesting what the new manager decides to do with this hotel.

My wife and I just returned from a short stay in Novotel Bali Benoa, we have previously stayed in Novotel Nusa Dua and we’re pleased with the quality and attention to detail.
I must say this hotel is quite run down, rough around the edges and not really an enjoyable experience! Bed was incredibly uncomfortable and fan & AC very noisy ( worn out )
Overall I can not recommend this Hotel or Location to future guests. Give this one a miss.

Had a very brief stay here on 18, 19 March when we could not take up an 8 day Scoopon deal because of the requirement for all Australians to return home as soon as possible. Through the efforts of Celia, Customer Service Officer, and Devi, Room Division Manager, we were able to gain agreement that the package deal could be deferred until later after COVID danger passes, although formalising this through Scoopon has been difficult and remains unresolved as yet. The hotel even emailed Scoopon on our behalf. It was our 10th visit to the hotel and we are very keen to come back for the full deal. Devi and Celia were so supportive in a difficult time and it was lovely to be greeted by so many familiar smiling staff members; Wayan who makes the best breakfast omelettes, the Pool Manager whose tricky name always slips past us friendly and welcoming as usual, the barman at CoCo's who makes outstanding strawberry mojitos, the wonderful wait staff, and pretty much everybody. Thank you. Our room, this time a beachside cabana, was excellent including cleaning and turndown service, the pools and gardens always lovely, CoCo's ambience and food so nice and reclaiming the beach that had previously been eroded has now been concluded to a most attractive standard. We stay in many places in Bali and the Novotel remains one of our very favourite not just in Bali, but in the world. Devi and all staff did so much to make us more comfortable and reassured in very tense times and we sincerely hope for all matters to be resolved so we can return for longer holiday as soon as we can. Our best wishes go to all at the Novotel in what will be trying times for them too.

This was my 3rd trip to Bali and 3rd trip to NOVOTEL BALI BENOA. The staff has never disappointed me, never failed to impress me with their warmth , their friendliness, and their helpfulness . Celia and Nanda were our Guest check in staff and really helpful people. I found this hotel adds when I was surfing Information of hotel promotion via Instagram. It's looks very nice and tempting when I see some picture on Instagram and website, and the good things that they have a great discount offer for the new noemal staycation,so that I desiced to book a family room. Arriving at the hotel...the hotel was not too crowded, because they has just opened in a few days after short break (because of covid19 pandemic). Although they are doing some renovation around the lobby, but I appreciate that they have a very good protocol of new normal tourism. They provide hand sanitizer in the entrance of the lobby, scan out body temperature and all the staff wearing mask and face shield. The FO table also separated by a glass so direct contact can be limited between the guest and FO staff. After we arrived in the room... We were so amaze with the huge space. It is bigger that what I was imagine. They have 2 rooms very big room and beautifull bathroom. Also we like the bath tub very much. The best view in this place is the pool and beach side,and also my husband and my som were very happy that he could try canoe for free. Although for me the pool is too deep (since I can't really swim) but I guess this will be a fantastic place for people who loves swimming very much. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, mbak Yuli, the manager in duty and the other staff were very helpful. The only things we missed are the buffet breakfast, but they served more than enough breakfast in the room. They offer various choices for adult and kids. Overall this is a supercool hotel and we hope one day We would able to come back and try the private beach front villa...Good luck for Novotel.

My first stay at this Hotel was in 2000. Various family members and I have been back many times since. The rooms have been renovated over the last few years with the bathrooms divided into sections allowing three people to use the area at once. The pool areas and grounds of the hotel are filled with fragrant frangipani trees among others. I look forward to the amazing buffet breakfast which has so many choices that vary daily. It is always lovely to be remembered by the staff when we return. The greetings we receive make our holiday more special.

Wait and cafeteria staff including cleaning staff and Bus/Concierge staff extremely friendly. I personally rate them 10 out of 10.
Unfortunately, the services at the front desk at this hotel is not the best. The hotel is extremely inflexible and probably do not care if existing customers come back. It felt more like a transaction with a short-term focus vs what is expected of a relationship and long-term customer oriented type outcomes given that many 1st time visitors like us will often return. It’s simply best to avoid this hotel.
We had gaps through the doors and suffered severe mosquitoes bites the 1st 4 nights before it was repaired. The rooms are dated, not clean and have moldy type smells.
The water from the faucet is not drinkable. However what was supposed to be curtesy bottled water seems to be a challenge to get. The hotel will rather sell everything than take time to explain things included in their standard package. It only explicitly the poor serves and what to expect if you stay at this location.

We have regularly stayed at the Novotel Benoa and each time enjoyed it even more than the last. each time we spend 4-5 days having been here in August 2019, October 2019 and now just finishing 4 days end of January 2020. The pool area overlooks the beach and is just amazing. We always like to visit Kuta for a few days which is busy, full of life but then head for Benoa for relaxation and quiet. its is always 5 degrees cooler here because of the afternoon breeze and the shops, massages & restaurants are all very close by walking distance. The hotel is always immaculate but just remember this is relaxed Bali NOT clinical Qatar so some reviewers give false reports as they expect a clinical location. Bali is full of life & character we have been coming here for over 30 years and still love every visit. So remember Kuta is busy but nice, Nusa Dua is also nice but remote no walking access to restaurants, massage & shops. Benoa is perfect and the Novotel is the best choice for great value. The breakfast is the best we have very had!

We stayed in one overlooking the pool and appear to have been renovated, possibly a year or two ago. Overall Hotel did present quite well. I think they did some work on it during Covid period
