We stayed in Cabin 13 as our first night’s accommodation along the Queen Charlotte Track. Lovely for couples and very private. We were very impressed with the fresh, modern interior, good quality showers, bathroom products and of course the stunning views from the living area and bedroom. We always appreciate lodgings with tea and coffee making facilities. It was so...

Was a lovely place, the sun was shining and the views were fantastic. We arrived into Furneaux exhausted but were greeted by friendly faces. We stayed in a suite located at the front of the property, our bags had arrived safely and a cosy night was well needed. A night in front of the bar-fire and good food sorted us...

A very tired property, with second rate management. Highly overpriced, but with close to a monopoly. Not at all helped by any sort of greeting, and staff too lazy and too stupid and uncaring to cover our luggage between boat and chalet, so that all our gear was wet, leaving us nothing dry to change in to when arriving after...

This was our first night stop on the track and what a beautiful setting. We loved the lawn areas, sitting on the decking with a glass of wine was just lovely. We stayed in the Tobias suite (a little pricey) and it was great apart from the leaky shower but as it was a warm day so we could dry...

This was our first night on the track and what a treat. We stayed in one of the studios right down on the Sound, just gorgeous. And enjoyed a beautiful evening meal in front of the fire in the main house. Breakfast was tops and the staff amazing.

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay at Furneaux Lodge, and enjoyed the meals from our new Head Chef Marcel Rood. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your walk on the Queen Charlotte Track.

We stopped here on out walk along the Queen Charlotte walk. After a boat trip and 5 hrs of fairly challenging walking this was very welcoming . Friendly, helpful staff and a very comfortable unit with a delicious packed lunch the next day

A great overall experience. After four of us walking from ship's cove, a warm welcome by the log fire and friendly staff was much needed. We stayed in two suites which were very welcoming and clean. We then ventured up to the bar where we had a great meal (All three courses), a very good standard of food for the...

Three of us stayed at Furneaux over the Queen's birthday bank holiday and we were a bit concerned about recent poor reviews on Trip Advisor. We arrived by water taxi from Picton and were greeted by one of the owners, he duly took our bags up to the lodge on a caddy so we didn't have to carry them ourselves...

We were cycling the queen charlotte track and this was day 1. One group member had a mechanical first thing and got back on the boat to come around to Furneaux Lodge. We thought we were meeting him here but he wasn't about. Asked the bartender if our friend had been about but he just looked at me like I...

We travelling out to the lodge for the day for lunch. When we arrived there was no one around at all. We walked the grounds before heading to the bar for lunch and a drink. After much time we had to ask for menus and if we could get a drink. There was no warm welcome from any one, the...
