Parked the car at rear of hotel and made our way to reception through an alley way and corridor to a v friendly welcome by Marion who checked us in to our first floor room which like the most of the hotel had dated decor but we weren't paying for grandeur ....it had ample space and more importantly a clean...

Hotel was good and breakfast and dinner was perfect and cheap to eat in there's also a few bars close by that has late ngt music if you fancy a change from the hotel the area is quiet but has all the shops pubs restaurants that you need

Me and my wife have just stayed the weekend and I can honestly say we had a great time. From the moment we got our room key til we left everyone of the staff were excellent, extremely friendly and very accommodating plus free tea n coffee on arrival, The food was spot on, the steak nite was great and well...

Well just returned from a 8 night stay and i have to say all the staff are so nice and friendly especially the twins (marian and brenda) so helful they both always have a smile on there face : ).The hotel could do with a update but you pay for what you get. The food was spot on every night...

We stayed at the donn carrah 13 years ago and it hasn't changed one bit..... literally! Old and tired, rooms are clean. The staff and food were lovely. Do you get what you pay for, but the owners need to spend some money as it's the staff that really made it worth the stay.

Checked in on line no problems family run hotel. Good amazing rooms very warm I was thrilled only down side was room I stayed in had no phone reception room 108 which was very upsetting as I was there due to a death in the family and could not make calls or receive them but over all everything else was...

lovely little hotel this hotel cost £49 bb for 1 night [saturday] .this hotel is a little rough round the edges but is clean and staff very friendly the food is also very good recommend the apple tart and custard .don,t book this hotel cause its cheap then complain as i said in my title you get what you pay...

Situated on the main street this archetypical country town hotel - bar - restaurant could have been here since the beginning of time. Food is served in the bar that although clean have furnishings that perhaps could be described as 'distressed' with gaping holes in the upholstered seating and general air of neglect.
