Booked a double en suite last minute with Dot. I was amazed at this place, warm, friendly and discreet, nothing was to much trouble. The bedroom was just perfect, modern and very clean as were all the other areas open to the guests, kitchen, lounge area etc. Tried booking for a week in May, but they are already fully booked...

Fluffy towels, clean beds. Slept like a baby. Very friendly. Will definitely be back. Birnam Arts centre is just round corner. Plenty of parking. Due to overnight frost in January, my car had frozen shut and it slid on black ice when joining the A9. Take plenty de-icer spray & scraper if visiting north by car! Jessie Macs was perfect...

Words fail me, everything is there - warming welcome, amazing rooms that have everything needed for the traveller. Very impressive kitchen and residents lounge. All very well thought out and impressingly organised, arranged and green friendly. Lots of information on local activities and owners very helpful. B & B if required. Go, you'll adore it.

Wow wow wow, literally THE friendliest hostel I have been in for a long time. Owner has thought of all the small details which means that everything works really well. Beds are super comfy and very sturdy (no squeaky beds from room mates). Rooms have toilets. STAY HERE

Lovely hostel/ B&B. Covered in art, friendly and relaxed. It's great being able to use the fully equipped kitchen to cook meals and snacks. This time we made it down to the musicians night in the pub, fiddles, mandolin and whistles. Great mix.

Our second visit here to this unpretentious, easy, happy, peaceful, environmentally sound, friendly, reasonably priced....Oh you get the picture, I love this place and it's ethos. Great breakfasts also and a view of Birnam woods. I'll be back.

We accidentally found this hostel when looking for a weekend escape from the city. Accommodation is immaculate and full of character. Hosts are very happy friendly and helpful Facilities are excellent. If you would rather be catered for at breakfast, quality and choice is great - and price is very reasonable. While we were there, our hosts heard that they...
