If you want an off the beaten path hotel in the French countryside, this is the place. The caretakers have thought of all your needs, and more importantly have excellent dinners and breakfasts. We stayed two nights here and the meals offered the freshest ingredients and included local fare. Lorraine, the caretaker is a trained chef, and along with her...

Chef Loraine and her husband Bob work together to deliver an amazing dining experience all in an enchanting garden venue. I wish my words could do justice to the evening! This particular evening was a birthday celebration with friends who made special arrangements at Maison Lavande. The French country B&B is very inviting, well decorated with many clever decorating touches....

The dinner was excellent and truly memorable. Chef Lorraine opened up with a goat cheese salad layered with lush tomato slices and melted camembert with a slice of...

The B&B has the most beautiful rooms and the beds are so comfortable you don't want to wake up, unless of course you want to partake in an amazing breakfast. Make sure you have Lorraine cook you...

I've stayed in many B&Bs over the years, in many countries, and for amenities, charm, comfort, and quality this is the place to stay when your in the region. This is not just a place for a sleep over; it is a full experience unto itself and quite easy for luxuriating in the morning, afternoon and evening during much of...

Bob & Lorraine are great hosts, and they allow their home to become your home, enabling you to relax straight away. Attention to detail is great......in all accommodation. All meals were so enjoyable........loved the 'zinger' marmalade! The garden was just the place to relax into the evening, with the plunge pool, loungers, & kitchen. Only slight drawback, was the downstairs...
