Fogo Island Inn sits on an Island, off an Island, at one of the four corners of the Earth. Every one of our 29 one-of-a-kind guest suites has dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto the wildest and most powerful ocean on the planet, located less than 100 feet from your organic...

It is fantastic there. We were told by the parking attendant that we were not allowed in but we still walked around the gorgeous exterior. I took a pic thru the front door where a lady said they do tours! The front desk allowed us...More
We stayed for 3 night with another family, each with 3 kids.

Thank You GdS_CH for the wonderful review. It is always so reassuring to see a review where the whole family enjoyed. I agree fully the view and the seafood is amazing!

While the inn has been done organically with all items from surrounding Newfoundland or Canada only I found the surroundings to be cold and not indicative of Newfoundland charm. The inn was very minimalistic and the cost of staying there is exorbitant

Right On! We are planning a special Anniversary/Birthday cruise and as costly as that is, NO Alcoholic drinks are included in that fare either...this seems to be the standard norm for high end travel. (Lucky we do not really drink.)The only place we ever went where the drinks were included was to a Sandel’s Resort in the Caribbean. Fogo Island Inn is a high priced category destination: it is a lifetime experience not to be missed: once you are already there, if you need a drink: just go ahead and buy it !

Thank you for your question. Pricing for Helicopter transfers from Gander can be obtained through the reservations team. They have assisted many of our guests with such requests and are very knowledgeable.
I don't think it really matters. The hotel does not really care what you wear. They are more concerned that you are comfortable and happy. Food there is a refined farm to table, so I do not think you need to over do it. But... More
