The staff was friendly and helpful, though I did not have enough time to know them. The forest tones were indescribable, especially with all-night-rain. However, the road to the place was bumpy and little distant. The wifi also wasn't good enough.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

It is rustic but very comfortable. The staff is freindly and helpful. The Owner was very helpful with planning our excursion into the rainforest. He gave great suggestions and even helped arrange a fantastic boat tour of the river. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was relaxing and the the fresh water pool was inviting. I can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed this hotel very much. Super friendly staff and great bungalows! I hope to be able to visit it once more in my life! It rain a lot when we were there, but it didn't matter at all, because we just enjoyed the time and relaxed in our bungalow.

We stayed three nights here and enjoyed it very much. It is located directly in the rainforest with beautiful nature. During the night walk we saw many animals like frogs, snakes, etc. The staff is very friendly. Thank you very much, Flor and all the others for making our stay so special.

I went there with my wife and we had a great time. It was rainy/low season but the warmth of the personnel made up our first night in Costa Rica. Beautiful rooms, tons of nature, a river where you have to go through to go to your rooms, knowledgable advices at the reception, great food. Recommended!

Okay, so this hotel is slightly overpriced compared to what you can get in the area, and the road is nothing short of terrible to get from the main to the hotel, but once you have paid, and you get there...it's nothing short of a little piece of paradise. You forget the bumpy journey and the money you've laid out...

Once you're inside the hotel grounds it's nice, however, you have to drive through 5 miles of bumpy dirt road to get there so getting in and out of the hotel can be a chore. The staff is super friendly and there's a dog named Canela (means Cinnamon) that they adopted when she was an abandoned puppy. Wifi is only...

We stayed at Chachagua for 2 nights in a standard bungalow. Room was lovely, with a large bed. The veranda had a hammock, sofa and rocking chair that allowed you to fully enjoy the views and relaxing atmosphere! The pool was nice, spring water however a bit cold. The restaurant had an OK menu. That is also where the wifi...

It is not nice to travel 1000s of miles for a low quality hotel with 5 Star hotel prices. Fortuna has a lot better and cheaper hotels near town, this hotel is 45 minutes away from town. Hotel Royal Corin or even Tabacon have higher Standards. - Our room a/c broke done, no fix given. - Parking is far away...

My 3 girlfriends and I stayed at the ecolodge for 3 nights, it's a little tucked away oasis with some of the friendliest and helpful staff. From the moment we checked in, Diego was the sweetest guy who willingly answered our millions of questions. The rooms were beautiful and loved listening to the rain from the porch. We met Ross...
