I stayed for one night at this hotel as part of a tour. It was well located near the lake and centre of Egirdir. My room was fairly clean with a balcony but decor very tired. There was no aircon but that wasn't a problem at this time of year (September) at this altitude. Breakfast was basic.
A quiet hotel just across from the lake. Convenient for local cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Although there is no air con opening the balcony door allowed for air to circulate and there was surprisingly little noise from the road.
The lake side view is amazing. But I don’t recommend to stay at this location. This hotel did not have any Aircon. No fans. You cannot leave the window open because of mosquitoes and flies. Pretty much feel like a prisoner in the room without any ventilation. We cancelled our booking and drove down to iSparta and stayed at another hotel for the night. The left in the hotel chooses to work when it pleases. However the reception staff was very kind and polite. He also suggested us another hotel to stay at, but unfortunately we do not like any of the other hotels around in this region. Go at your own risk to stay here.
We just had an overnight stay here, so didn't experience a lot at the hotel itself. The location is fine with the sea right across the road and walking distance to sights and restaurants The WiFi worked fine, and the bed was comfortable enough Breakfast was basic but sufficient.
Worth to stay for short time. The hotel should be renovate. The location and the view of hotel is perfect. It is close to Egirdir bus terminal. It is easy access to shopping markets and fast food restaurants.
Altıngol (Golden Lake) Hotel has a good location in order to reach to Ada (island) for a good dinner in Egirdir. Because, there is no dinner in hotel except breakfast which has limited meals. Additionally, the lunch is not available. However, they were able to host us as a traveler group from Ankara University Oct. 10-11. My room was moderate and back side of hotel, so I did not see the lake scenery. Reception personnel are sluggish and don't show enthusiasm. But, I have to say that they sent me my personal belongings forgotten by me in my room after a call one day passed. I appreciate them with all my heart. If your acceptations are not very high and you consider only a good bed, nice sheet, clean bath, reasonable price you can easily stay in this hotel.
Stayed one night on a small group tour. OK hotel on the main road near town centre. We had a room overlooking main road, but set back, so not noisy. Reasonable size room with fridge, (free) wifi, small flatscreen TV, but no aircon - so might be hot on the height of summer. Breakfast typical Turkish - olives cheese, salami, bread, jams etc
We stayed in October and the heat would not work in our room. The WiFi worked in the lobby but would not work in our room. The door locks were difficult and everyone had trouble with them. There was barely a lake view from the room and the street in front of the hotel is busy (noisy). The bed was hard. The shower was only warm (not hot) and the wand was not in a good position (it made the floor all wet). There was a hair dryer. We had a unplug a lamp to charge our phones - so our room was dimly lit. The lake is just across the street and you can walk to some shops and restaurants.
Nice location, good sized room, balcony with ocean view, bathrooms good size, wifi good strength, breakfast okay, restaurants walkable. One our better stays while travelling outside Istanbul, certainly worth a stay.
This hotel was okay. We had a view of the lake but the room was dark. There wasn't any air conditioning and we had one window and door but we were close to ground and someone could have come in. There was also no air movement for air to come in window. It was also rather noisy outside so sleeping was a little difficult. Food was average.
