We booked with a daddy deals voucher for a 2 night stay and we're not disappointed. Stunning architecture with amazing pillars as the center piece of this 10 room boutique hotel. We were greeted on arrival by Alta and shown to our suite which exceeded our expectations and was certainly deluxe. Beautiful wooden carved furniture and king size bed which...

Nice large rooms with stunning views and amazing local art The breakfast was good and just loved the shongololo (centipede) table we will highly recommend it and will stay there again The entrance is steep and when it rains is a bit tricky with a standard vehicle

First off you are confronted by a very steep drive to the reception. Your first impression might be 'there is no way this is 5-star', but give it a chance. On arrival you walk into a sensory overload of African themed decor. We had two rooms both were amazing. We were disappointed though to have booked gorge views for both,...

Our staying in Ammazula was nice. The road to the hotel is very, very stiff. Rooms are nice, but there is only one chair in the room where you can sit proper. The other two couches are crappy sit on. Overall a amazing hotel/museum

Indoor Décor is Amazing and Room Spacious and comfortable. For a five star it was lacking certain luxuries, one would expect. NO Hairdrier in the room, No Aircon in the whole establishment, hot and stuffy, Bathroom décor dusty and not cleaned often. We never had breakfast as we arrived and there was NO 5 STAR BREAKFAST, had to share a...

This place is superb and the stuff is so friendly. The venue is very well styled with the african theme, its clean and well maintained ... the location is a bit remote and far from the village shops and restaurants but its so relaxing and comfortable and you can have delivery for the food to your door.

We stayed recently at the Ammazulu African Palace as my daughter was getting married in South Africa. We live in Scotland. The hotel is spectacular internally and the artworks are amazing. We booked the Presendential Suite which had fantastic views over the gorge and was an excellent base for the wedding. The room was stunning. Alta and her team went...

This is no ordinary hotel...the Zulu palace is just fabulous and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended. There is a wonderful collection of Zulu beadwork and baskets....its more of a museum than a hotel. Really amazing.

For my work I spend a lot of time in hotels and safari lodges and whilst most are good, not many leave the impression on me that the Ammazulu African Palace has. The decor is amazing and something to behold. It could be over the top and gaudy but it isn't. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and the service...

Stayed a night in this amazing place. The art and decor is absolutely stunning and you actually get lost trying to absorb it all. The views from the balcony were breathtaking and our suite was fantastic and luxurious. The breakfast was superb and the staff are very eager to please.
