Beautifully decorated house, peaceful and set in the most tranquil and unspoiled part of Dorset, west of Dorchester and south of Sherborne. A spacious stylish home with stunning views, comfortable bedrooms with good beds and white linen, good water pressure and lovely toiletries in the bathrooms. The downstairs rooms include a flower filled garden room and sofas in the sitting room area with a log fire. Gourmet breakfasts are served in the garden room, with fresh orange juice, homemade muesli (loved by everyone!), garden fruit compot and Greek yoghurt, a full English Breakfast using locally sourced ingredients, toast and homemade jams. Excellent pubs closeby - serving restaurant food or more relaxed good pub grub . Martyn and Susie look forward to extending a warm welcome to you at Wooden Cabbage. Only 25 minutes' drive to the Jurassic Coast. Lovely walks closeby and wonderful gardens to visit, as well as NT houses. Dogs may now be accommodated in one bedroom, pls call to discuss.

We enjoyed our weekend stay very much. Made to feel very comfortable. The room was perfect with great attention to detail / small touches. Bathroom with bath and shower - heaven after a long day walking! Breakfasts were excellent.

It would be easy to list all the fabulous features of Martyn and Susie's house but what makes it extra special is the feeling you are a guest in their home. We enjoyed the ambience, the views, the conversations and the garden. Homemade granola, preserves...More

Quite one of the best - if not the best - b&b's I've stayed in. And certainly the best breakfast I've had. Martin and Susie just put so much care into everything. The garden is particularly good. And the views .

We had a wonderful stay at Wooden Cabbage House, it is a beautiful property overlooking stunning Dorset countryside. The breakfasts were excellent with nice homemade touches and the hospitality was outstanding. I would highly recommend this B&B and would stay their again.
