I have stayed at this hotel twice and I can't wait to go back. The staff is great, helpful and polite, the rooms are superb and with character, clean and spacious. Breakfast is delicious and the location of the hotel is conveniently on the way to and from the airport. I have been to the Island of Lesvos on both...

I booked in person needing to quickly find accommodation as my flight was cancelled due to high winds. I initially drove to about 4 hotels but returned to this one simply because the lady on reception was so friendly and welcoming. I was shown to an elegant, super clean room. I loved the creaky floor boards and the eccentricity of...

The Pyros hotel offers nice "bed & breakfast" style accommodation in a unique and charming historic property. Our room was in the tower part of the building, which offered lovely views of the port of Mytilene. Decor matches the period, and the breakfast buffet was very good. The staff were also very accommodating. The location is about a 10-min walk...

We stayed for 1 night on the 16th of September 2015. We were upgraded to their main room in the round tower of the building. It was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and had the most amazing views. The staff were all so kind and lovely and the breakfast was the best buffet we have had in Greece to date. If...

This was my first time in Greece and my friend and I received a warm welcome at the Pyrogos hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff spoke perfect English. The decor is stylish and the rooms very comfortable with easily controlled air-conditioning. The breakfast was full of variety with lots of Greek specialities. I would certainly recommend this...

The hotel is located right on a busy main road and is old and run down, nothing like the photos depict the website. Upon arriving the hotel owner was rude to us and tried to charge us more money to use the safe, and was busy talking and laughing on her phone with her staff. She tried to charge us...

If you hanker for a touch of luxury and old world style this hotel is perfect. The decor is a lovely mix of period furniture and sumptuous textiles with a grand house style. The beds were the most comfortable of our whole holiday, and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet with our Greek coffees and juice. The dining room has...

Very helpful staff, nice interior design, good breakfast bar.. Though not in the city centrum, getting a taxi is no problem. This hotel is in the local residence area, therefore much more quiet than the ones in centrum.

This is a big, old house tastefully remodeled into a small hotel. The staff is wonderful: Kind, knowledgeable and friendly, they speak perfect Greek (I think) and excellent English (I know). The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts are full of homemade treats including some of the best Greek pastries I've ever had. The only downsides are...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"PYRGOS OF MYTILENE" BOUTIQUE HOTEL/MANSION. "PYRGOS OF MYTILENE" is a real jewel, one of a kind, as nothing similar can be found in Lesvos. Our boutique hotel was built in 1916 by the Architect Ignatios Vafiadis in the style of Second Empire. In 1995 the building was renovated in respect of its history and from August 1999 operates as a luxurious hotel all year around. PYRGOS OF MYTILENE is situated in the town of Mytilene where most of the mansions exist in the area, 200 meters from the new Marina. The significant exterior staircase constructed from white marble leads us to the main entrance, flanked by two aristocratic columns and eventually culminates at the highest point in the small tower. The interior seduces with its luxury, including decorations and furnishing from the period of Louis XVI. Every room creates its own unique atmosphere with discreet and soft coloring. The overall, romantic atmosphere takes you back to the 19th century, creating a feeling of living in the area. The three floors, which are connected with an imposed wooden staircase (there is no lift), leads to the luxurious 12 rooms, with assorted views of the garden, city or sea. Home comforts are not lacking as every room has air-condition, satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, bathroom with hair-dryer, bathroom amenities, wireless Internet, safe-box and 24-hour room-service. The hotel offers a parking area for your convenience and Business Facilities (Fax, Internet, E-mail). Reception and Bar are open 24 hours per day. As soon as you enter the hotel a warm reception area greets you. In the living room or at the bar you can enjoy refreshments, while your Breakfast, American type Buffet with local delicacies, is served in the Breakfast room or outside on the terrace, where you can enjoy an enchanting view of the houses and the sea. The friendly environment and wonderful service offered by extremely efficient personnel create a warm and friendly atmosphere and will in sure make an unforgettable stay.
