To stay in a castle which is over 1000 years old is a great experience. We had a standard hotel room which was very sufficient for a short stay. There are rooms available of various sizes. We had an arrangement with a daily 4-course dinner with great food and a choice of fine wine from the region Trentino. The hotel-ward... More

My husband is a history bluff, so an authentic hotel/castle is exactly what he enjoys. I have to say Castel Pergine, was a real European castle experience. Our bedroom was quite roomy with seating overlooking Pergine - very nice. The bathroom appeared new with modern amenities. We walked the grounds and later enjoyed having wine inside while enjoying the wonderful... More

We felt privileged to have selected this castle to stay in. A very special place to spend a night, yet not expensive at all. Combine it with a visit to Arte Sella outdoor art exhibiton. Good food, good breakfast.

We had read other reviews and decided to treat ourselves despite the cost as I don't mind paying if we get value for money. The location is lovely and picturesque. We were met and greeted and our reservation was available when we arrived. The restaurant was already nearly full upon our arrival. It took quite a while to be presented... More

Staying at the Castel Pergine is always a pure pleasure. The rooms are excellent, the service good and very friendly, the garden wonderful, the view fantastic. And the dining absolutely tip-top. The towers are really nice for close friends or families.

A hotel that I would not want to miss. Castle is interesting, but the food and rooms are amazing. Great value for the wonderful experience. Quiet area, very safe and private. Room furniture was historic but a lovely modern bathroom. Could not find anything to improve on.

Arrived in Trento and easily hired a car for a beautiful scenic drive to Castel Pergine. Upon arriving we were professionally welcomed and guided to our accommodation. An amazing tower with outstanding views of Pergine surrounded by the picturesque mountains and lake. We could not believe this is where we were staying, its was very clean and comfortable. We had... My wife visited this castel in June/14 while we were staying in the Trento area . The inside of the castel is beautiful , but there isn't much to see as it is mostly a hotel now and there isn't much for the wandering tourists to see . Hiking around the castel was a great way to look down at... More

I last came here 8 years ago, before the tsunami of trip advisor feedback. The Castello has retained all of its ambience and is truly a great place to stay for a few days. The rooms are spotless and have new showers and toilet facilities which are exemplary. The food is, as it always has been, excellent. The staff are... More

We stayed here 16 years ago and were simply amazed by the hotel then. It is still the same and remains one of the most stunning hotels. The castle retains an alpine and medieval atmosphere while having all the comforts that a modern hotel should have (fantastic bathroom and restaurant). Rooms are decorated in an alpine style with pine antique... More
