We opted for a bush room which had a spectacular view and an outside shower and toilet. It was really fun to stay in. However, we were not informed that we could not dine at the lodge even if we paid an additional fee and could only do self catering. The managers were very gracious in offering us coffee and...

We really enjoyed our two nights at the Addo Dung Beetle Guest Farm. The hosts (Rod & Magna) were very nice and charming and helped us with all our questions. The bungalow (luxury chalet) was very lovely, clean, spacious and had a bathtub as well as an indoor and outdoor shower which we found very nice. Only downside was the...

A great place for the last two nights of our trip. I would echo all that has been said in recent reviews. Warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, spacious and well equipped chalet, lovely view, loved watching the birds in the reeds by the waterhole. Great food. We enjoyed a morning game drive with Rod who is very knowledgeable. Didn't have time...

We stayed in one of the Dung Beetle units and it was a great experience, especially with kids. The entire place is beautiful and has all the facilities while letting you feel like your are sleeping in the nature. It is run by very nice people that give you a family stay feeling. It is also very close to the...

If you are looking for a "home away from home", then look no further, but book at Addo Dung Beetle! Rod & Magna are the friendliest hosts you can imagine and the chalets are fantastic! Fully equipped, with a comfortable bed and a luxurious bathroom! But the best part is the view, we loved it! Actually you do not even...

We stayed 2 nights here recently in the lodges. The rooms were clean, spacious and had very comfortable beds, with spectacular views over the citrus orchard and valley. Cooked breakfasts were yummy, and there were also plenty of other breakfast options. We also ate dinner here one night which was superb. Rod and Magna are warm and engaging hosts and...

I stayed one night in one of the dung beetle rooms. The setting is beautiful and very natural. Our room was well decorated and up a private path. It was a little embarassing that there is no door to the bathroom (make sure to stay with someone you know well). The room smelled strongly of cleaning solution which was hard...

Stayed 2 nights in the dung beetle honeymoon cabin to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was certainly an unforgettable experience and quite unique. Each cabin is tucked away and hidden from its neighbour down narrow little paths. Getting luggage to the cabin was very difficult even with the help,of a trolley. Staff were all very helpful and advised us on...

We stayed two nights at Addo Dung Beetle Guest Farm and it was great! We loved our chalet (nr. 1) with a nice bed, (outdoor) shower and bath. The views were amazing! Hosts Rod and Magna were so nice. On the first evening we enjoyed a South African braai in the dining Lapa. We also went with Rod on a...

We stayed at a bush cabin. Where we braaid both days, sat by the fire, showered outside and all with a beautiful view of the farmland. The hosts are really friendly too and were able to answer all our questions. Addo elephant park is around the corner and the hosts gave us a good route to see the most of...
