The bed was very comfortable and the decor charming. My room up under the eaves had only a small window--fine for October, but I imagine it might be too stuffy in summer. One can't expect great soundproofing in an old house like this, but this was not a problem, as the other guests weren't noisy. Lovely view over the water,...

We went to a christmas dinner with two good friends. We have visited this beautiful place many times before and sure had high hopes. Some parts of the visit was good (the food is good, not great but greater than most of the restaurants in the area, excluding Gothenburg maybe), some were a little bit confusing (first we were mistaken...

Stylish small hotel in an historic seaside family villa. Very good staff including kitchen team who produced a series of interesting meals with good wines teas and coffees depending on the time of day. Bikes and boat to borrow if you need to work up extra appetite. Amazing views (although this tree kept getting in the way).

Villa Sjötorp is a beautiful house with lots of original features, embedded in a beautiful park with a breathtaking view onto sea, bay and islands. The ample breakfast and food in general was delicious. Especially we would like to mention the friendly service and support of Ellika and her staff in all matters.

We had two nights at the Villa and would struggle to find an issue. We had the white and grey rooms (one front one back). The grey is shaded by the giant copper beech whilst the white is full of light, both had lovely comfortable beds. This is a large old summer house still in the hands of the originals...

We had a great stay at Villa Sjötorp. The rooms were decorated very tastefully and individually. The service from the staff was excellent. It is is a compilation of the best that Scandinavia can offer: safe, friendly, comfortable and with a magnificient view of the fjord!

This beautiful place was visited by us this weekend in September and we will come back for sure. The location some steps from the sea, overlooking part of the Swedish west coast archipelago is so peaceful and so beautiful that it almost takes your breath away. If you add to this a menue that is in the top class of...

A beautiful historic property in a stunning location. The room was comfortable, dinner was exceptional and the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. There is a lovely beach accessible from the grounds. Hope to return.

The house itself is quite something! It really gives you this 'traditionally Swedish' feeling - all in wood, with large dining areas and a terrace overlooking the sea. The view is wonderful, and so is the food. It's a very good place to rest in the area of the Bohuslan for a few days. The only thing to note is...

We really enjoyed staying in the lovely B&B. It is situated in a beautiful countryside on the coast. The countryside around the B&B is relaxing and undisturbed. The B&B is older, but very beautiful. It probably used to be a private residence owned by a wealthy family and it still has the essence (in a good way). The rooms are...
