We stayed with friends for three nights at the Domaine and rate it as the highlight of our three weeks in Spain and France. Close to the colorful Canal Du Midi and the historic walled-Cite, the Domaine is a quiet retreat from the busy Languedoc. The rooms are comfortable and clean with large baths, the grounds are calm and inviting...

I traveled to Languedoc with my wife and adult daughter in late April 2011. Christophe Pariset and his wife Catherine were wonderful to us. They both took an interest in our traveling plans and were really helpful in planning day trips. Their local advice on where to go really made the difference. Every morning he made a nice warm fire...

Our second trip to Domaine St Pierre, this time with two of our daughters was another memorable success. The old chateau is as grand as it looks on the photos and good weather meant we swam in the excellent outside swimming pool on both days. We did not have a car but hired bikes - it is biking heaven, along...

We stayed for one night and wished it was for longer. The house is in a lovely setting with acres of pretty garden. We were in the jade room which was exactly as we expected from the website, comfortable, spacious and with sublime views of the garden. Our hosts were congenial and helpful. Would definitely reccommend.

Just outside of the new city of Carcassonne, this is a gem. I loved it because it was that little bit outside of the hustle and bustle. The gite is beautiful and grand and the rooms were lovely. We stayed in a charming rose coloured room with HUGE bathroom. The hosts were SO welcoming and spent time going through what...

The gite was just what we wanted - a very clean, comfortable and well-equipped place to stay. Christophe and Catherine were the perfect hosts - with plenty of advice and suggestions if you want them, but otherwise they left you alone to choose what you wanted to do. The grounds are extensive with plenty of room for children to run...

We've stayed 4 very nice nights in this big and lovely house! Location is ideal as only few minutes away from Caracassonne in a really quiet place. The swimming pool is clean and big enough. The wine tasting was interesting and we discovered good wines and lucques olives. Although the breakfast could offer more local products (fruits, jams,...) the setting...

Stayed in the west wing of the house for 2 weeks, the bathrooms are magnificent and the pool area spotlessly clean, however the owners whilst very pleasant are on site and are not able to relax around visitors using their house. We arrived and were shown around the accommodation, whilst it was adequately cleaned it was not spotless eg the...

It's not exactly what happened.... but anyway, when people are not correct and well educated we can be stressed. Even in a gite there are some rules to respect. Hopefully all our other guests keep a good memory of their stay wits us..!!
