Under current conditions wanted to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary at our favourite restaurant. Not disappointed by the quality of menu choice, excellent service and atmosphere all under excellent segregation and COVID regulations. If in area and want fresh quality excellent cooked fayre then this is place for you. As known our Anniversary personal touch on dessert sums up attention to detail. No problems in recommending a booking.

We stayed in Room 6 for two nights - DBB. The room was lovely as we had a view of the estuary and we had a bath in the room as we had specifically requested one. Very comfortable and well furnished. The breakfasts and dinners were absolutely superb - very well presented and delicious. Highly recommend fish, which is their speciality. Definitely recommend.

We stayed in Room 3 for one night. Big room, super comfy bed, the most powerful shower ever, soft towels. Some minimal noise from the restaurant below but all finished by 10pm. The food was delicious. I had hake from the Specials menu - highly recommended. Portion size was just right too. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming of our dog. It is great value. Highly recommended.

We have been staying here from time to time for the past ten years and each time I have felt it gets better and better. Our family-of-five's most recent stay was as lovely as every: delicious food, lovely rooms. The staff were extremely helpful when we made several last minute changes and were able to improve on our final request so that my husband and I found ourselves in our favourite room with our favourite view.
