Can't fault the place. Clean room. Comfy double bed. Was greeted by John on reception who was most helpful. Checked in within ten mins. Met The owner on departure who was very friendly. Breakfast was a must and well prepared would stay again

Don't stay here. Nobody around to check us in, waited for an hour to be shown our rooms. Tiny double beds and bad facilities. Only up side is the nice bar staff (who are a separate company to the hotel) No wifi Little hot water

This is the first negative review I have ever written as I'm easily pleased... but for the price this hotel is a shambles, me and my friend stayed for 1 night as it was conveniently located for an adventure race we were doing the following morning. The even better news is that the breakfasts are done by a different company who lease the bar and dining area and is owned by a very helpful and charming lady who puts together an excellent breakfast for £5. The hotel can only be described as a dump that's dying. The...

Having seen some of the reviews I am afraid I did a few things like they do on the TV programme Four in the bed like checking for cobwebs etc. I checked the pillows...

Me and roughly 15 friends and colleagues went to this wonderful hotel on 18.05.16 and was greeted by the hotels wonderful staff straight away, you could feel a warm atmosphere immediately. As we kept drinking and the talking became louder and louder, the staff was still fantastic and catered for our every need. I would definitely recommend to anyone, and...
