First visit to Ft. Pickens and brought the 5vr over for 4 days to walk the beach and fish from the kayak. Have been disappointed that there is not a convenient place to launch it - 100+ yards is the closest but in the soft sand is a hike. (85lbs) The park is clean and especially reasonable if you have...

Me and the family really loved Fort Pickens campground. The campsites may have been a little close together but it wasn't that bad at all. Water faucets and electrical outlets on site if that's a concern.Restrooms and bath houses were in pretty good shape. The beauty of Fort Pickens campsite is that is very close to a lot of virtually unpopulated...

We camped here for 3 days in a tent in October. The B loop is for tents. I would recommend B4 first, the B5 and 6. These are large and more private than many of the other sites. The RV sites were close together without much shade. Some reviews have complained about the bathrooms but I thought they were fine....

The campground was very pleasant and so were the bathrooms. We got in late afternoon and cherished every minute! The beach was perfect, not crowded and the sandbar was awesome. We saw 3 armadillos, caught little crabs, jelly fish, sea snails, rode bikes, flied kites and enjoyed the most beautiful sunset. On our way back from the beach (it was...

The campground is very nice. The bathrooms and showers were redone last year and the ones in our loop were very clean. Just a short walk leads you to the beautiful white sand beach. The water is crystal clear and a great temperature to swim in. The seaweed was a bit to maneuver through after Hermine but once you got...

The campground is nice, the spots are a little close together but not too bad. The bathrooms were clean in section E but the showers could have been cleaner. Its pretty quiet on weekdays nobody messes with you. They have a raised walkway that leads to a nice beach with white sand and clear water, and hardly nobody on it....

The campground is nice -- sites are smaller than some, but everything else makes it SO worthwhile! The site is fine with a picnic table and fire ring/grill. The bathhouses are clean and nice. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. The beaches were amazing!!! This is the BEST family beach vacation we've ever taken!!! The beach associated with the...

We rented a Camplite RV trailer for our first attempt at RV camping. Reserving a campsite at recreation.gov was simple. Select your site on the map according to availability. Late arrival was no problem. We stayed on Loop A near the excellent bathhouse. There is a boardwalk to the beautiful beach from both camping areas and a convenient camp store....
