We have a very nice site with electric and water. You have to remember to bring wood with you since the camp store is closed and it is a long way back to the mainland. We will definitely return here in the future.

I'm going to tell you the 4 things I wish I had been told before going. This place is in a great location for the price. You will still have to pay and entrance fee of $15 to get in the park after paying for the campsite. Now, a few pieces of advice: 1) Book your site early. This place...

Great campground for all modes of camping from tents to big rigs. It is camping on an island that is about 8 miles from Pensacola. Great family place. The campground allows campfires; big ones. The part of the island where the campground is located is only about 350 yds wide; bay on oneside, the Gulf on the other. Plenty of...

This is the most eclectic RV park we have ever stayed at. We did not want to leave. The beach is walking distance for the gulf or the bay! The closest store which is a convenience store is 7 miles away, there is no grocery store or pharmacy on the island. Very remote!

My wife and I stayed in slot D13 in our 22 foot travel trailer for 3 nights. It was a very shady spot, which was great since many/most of the spots are in full sun. The slot was lever and just big enough for our trailer and our vehicle to be parked sideways. The campground was full. We were in...

We stayed the entire month of November 2016 at Ft. Pickens (we had to move once within the campground with their 14 day limit. We stayed in loop A, the beach is a block and a half away and stunning. The cleanest beach I have ever been on. The Florida trail begins or ends at Fort Pickens, Santa Rosa Island...

I didn't know where else to put a warning to people leaving the campground and heading north. We totaled our camper because we took GPS advice and went under a railroad bridge that was too low. It's a 17th and Wright , after we crossed the bay and the policeman said it happens twice a month. Keep on main roads,...

This is a "Must Stop". Very well outlay of grounds. This is a National Park, all the RV sites have electric and water, none are with sewer. There is only one sewer station to dump at, perhaps they could attach another pipe to the existing station thereby servicing 2 units at once, especially now most RVs have a fresh water...

Amazing and magical place!!! It is affordable and a great place for the entire family!!! I like that it's not very crowded and was very clean. I wish there was a way that you could look through all the old bunkers while you were there.

We stayed here for 2 nights in our RV based on the reviews we read & were not dissapointed. This has got to be one of the National Parks best kept secrets (but probably not for much longer) We were at site A12 which backed up to the wetlands. The camp host was very friendly & made suggestions on where to eat....
