I booked a weekend in March for £30/night INCLUDING Breakfast. For that I had a room on the front of the property, the sash window didn't keep much traffic noise out, comfortable double bed, TV, Tea and coffee, wash basin that's it. Toilets and shower cubicles along a corridor . Separate front door from pub, breakfast room on the ground floor...

First impressions - Clean and tidy, quaint with plenty of character. It was very busy but we were told a table would be available in a minute or two. True to...

The food available in the restaurant was cooked perfectly and there is a good choice plus a range of specials. We ate in...

Close to town, lovely friendly busy pub restaurant. Room was plenty big enough for one night, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was really nice too, crispy bacon is hard to come by.

Called in for a beer, too early for us to dine. Nice warm welcome, friendly atmosphere. Locals eating (a good sign), food looked yummy. Good menu choice, we plan to visit / dine when we are next in the area.

Visited with friends on our canal holiday and just wanted a nice hot meal with a environment to chill out in. Food was very basic, burgers were ok, but everyone else's food was not well presented and very sloppy. Where we sat we had children running about under our table, around the bar and not with there parents! The staff...
