we rented the new bungalow for 11 days and were very pleased. the shared infinity pool and views across the Caribbean were great; apparently you can see humpback whales migrating, but we didn't. if you decide to order meals, you won't be disappointed. Sam & Pascale were friendly & helpful

As always, a great stay at INFINITY BLUE. Everything is perfect, it's quiet, it's clean, the view is magnificent... the breakfasts are really delicious and super generous! Pan cake brioche with homemade exotic jam. We're coming back next year! !

+1
We just returned from a 4 night stay and wish we could have stayed much longer. The pictures are just as it is, unbelievably gorgeous. We even had a rainbow at breakfast by that beautiful pool on two mornings.
The accommodations are extremely clean and well-kept and very comfortable, and the hosts are warm and knowledgable about the area.
There are three guest rooms on site but we rarely crossed paths with anyone else - though there was plenty of common space to share by the pool if we had.
Breakfast by the pool each day was tranquil and delicious (freshly baked baguette!), good coffee, fruit juice - great start to the day.
We found the house to be well-located for exploring the wild side of Basse Terre. We explored the city of Basse-Terre, the fort Delgres, chutes de carbet, the volcano, Ilet pigeon in a kayak, snorkeling at Malendure and Petite Anse, Chute d'Acomat, the Zoo, Maison de Cacao, lunch and roaming around Deshaies... All in only three days with short drives from the house.
And that hot tub was just what the doctor ordered after the first two days of more strenuous hikes.
You will not regret choosing this lodging!

If you're looking for a quiet break from civilization this place is a great choice. We stayed for just a few days so stayed in the comfortable guest room in the main house--there are several bungalows that can be rented for a week or more. The pool and deck are open to all so we spent quite a bit of time there and often had it to ourselves--because there are only a few rooms you never feel crowded. The host Sammy was particularly kind and accommodating--he is English so no prob if you are not a fluent French speaker. His chef daughter cooks very good Thai food at dinner at most any hour you choose and also serves a good home made breakfast (bfast included w room; dinner is xtra chg). We got the good deal Norwegian Air flights from NYC that arrive late and depart early and even with a 10pm arrival at the house they still managed to serve us dinner. Most of the food on Guadeloupe west coast is basically Caribbean diner food so Thai was prob better than most other choices. There is one other place called Rayon Vert which serves good food and is sort of a larger noisier version of Infiniti Blue, and worth a trip for lunch or dinner. We rented a car from Pro-Rent--which is considerably cheaper than the bigger companies but perfectly reliable--advance book online. The drive from the airport is about an hour which because of our short stay and flight times we made in the dark--and driving is really the only way to get around the island. Driving on Guadeloupe is not for the timid--the winding mountain roads are challenging and most cars are manual.

Phenomenal homemade organic Thai food enjoyed while watching the most beautiful ocean sunset, after a day floating in the crystal clear infinity pool and private hot tub at Infiniti Blue.
The hosts really know how to make their guests feel welcome!
I highly recommend Infiniti Blue!

Such an excellent view- from the pool! Nice having English speaking hosts who could guide us. And we had 2 Thai meals on our patio. Good taste and good value. The icing on the cake!
We stayed in the smaller apt with a fully equipped kitchen. Great sunset, electric window shades and AC for nights.

We feel extremely lucky to have spent our 10-day Guadeloupe vacation at Infiniti Blue in Boulliante, Basse Terre. The magnificent site offers a stunning view of the sea and the winding roads below. The furnishings, plantings, walkways etc. have been selected with great care and attention to detail. And they are beautifully maintained.
We stayed in a separate bungalow, "Case Colibri" (hummingbird) that, albeit close to the pool and bar, offered complete privacy. It comprised, in addition to a comfortable bedroom (with air conditioning and fan) and bathroom, a well-equipped kitchenette for breakfast and simple meals, as well as a large covered veranda surrounded by flowering bushes which encourage encounters with the afore-mentioned hummingbirds, little iguanas, and occasional visits from the owners' friendly dog, Ruby, and cat, Ziggy.
The charm of the place itself is matched by the congenial and helpful personalities of the owners, Sam and Pascale. They are quiet and discrete but always ready to answer a question or offer a suggestion in either English or French. Their daughter, Jade, and her friend, Mint, run a small bar/restaurant on the premises which serves up delicious Thai-accented meals if you order a bit in advance. You eat overlooking the pool and the sea by yourselves, or perhaps with one other couple at a nearby table. It's magical.

The proprietors, Sam and Pascal, are a truly wonderful couple who went "above and beyond" to make our stay on Basse-Terre so pleasant. They have done an impeccable job in creating the atmosphere that was so comfortable and welcoming, but I think that their own personalities were even more special to us. Their daughter, Jade, and her charming friend, Mint, prepare two dinners (Thai recipes) for us and both were great. The fresh water shrimp dish, actually an appetizer, was the best of its kind I have ever eaten, and I would return just for that alone. The pool is large enough for real swimming, and the hot tub was a blast, a massage unto itself. I made more than a few mistakes in lining up my trip and Pascal, who speaks very good English, and Sam who speaks English and French like a native of both countries, remedied all of my errors willingly. I can not imagine not reuniting with them someday simply for their friendship. I will recommend the Infinity Blue to anyone who might wish to see the sights and experiences of Basse-Terre.
