Detailed Reviews
On the one hand, super comfortable rooms and spectacular view of Pigeon Island and bay. Luxury touches and very, very private and quiet. On the other hand, so quiet - never saw other guests, no pool, beach is just rocks and garbage. The cold spa on the terrace might be more inviting in summer. There is also a sense of this being a new hotel trying to find its way. There are nice luxury touches, but then they do silly things like charging an extra 1.5 euros to provide milk with the coffee for the included breakfast. It's a comfy base to explore the area, but not much to do at the hotel itself. The Galets Rouges restaurant down by the water is a separate business but the same owners, and it is fantastic.

The proposed setting is interesting, we were in the Saint-Anne room.
Most:
- privatized swimming pool
- Seaview
- Italian shower
- Good bedding
The lessers:
- The restaurant bar below the hotel organizes musical events. It's difficult to relax by the pool in this case.
- the layout of the accommodation generates proximity with other customers when you are in the outdoor area (swimming pool).
- No treats on the second day
Restoration:
In the half-board option, the catering was correct but not up to the expected standards.
Most:
- decent breakfast served in your room
The lessers:
- breakfast arrived late on the 2nd day (1 hour late). We were contacted twice to change our drinks due to stock shortages, ending up with different drinks.
- half board meal at Galet Beach: stale Creole rice served, I didn't try the smell, my more adventurous wife ate a bite and no more (it was tapas day in the restaurant but they served us the classic menu for the hotel's half board).

Warm welcome. Bungalow very comfortable, very good bedding. Exceptional view of pigeon islands. Outside with small pool, well equipped. A weekend wanted quiet, mission accomplished. Only small downside the beach restaurant is not up to the standard of the establishment: long service, little varied menu, lack of finesse and taste, it is a shame

This hotel is an amazing discovery. This place is the place to be at Bouillante for admiring nature, in silence and peace. The food is perfect because it's a genius Melting of usual Caribbean food and the modern one without killing our culture. Everything person of the staff are so kind. The place is very clean and everything is so nicely use. By the way, the place is bigger than expected so if you have issues with walking, please tell the staff before coming they Will arrange something for you. This has to be known because it's a kind of hotel we don't have by the past. The price is acceptable because there is a lot of good in material, taste and fresh food food. Coming here will never be an error so if you came in this area, you should try this I will definitely adopt it !

Room not ready till 4… I asked if possible to see if we can get the room a bit earlier .. 3:30
Was the best she can do. The host then sent us to their “private thermal bath “ while waiting for our room. We made not 1 but 2 trips to
Look for the so called thermal bath … to only find it was broken … I am certain we are not the first family to
Wait for a room to find the “thermal bath” broken.
We are currently still waiting for our room and not 1 person asked if we would like a glass of water or tea.
Sorry to say … the Holiday Inn gives you a warmer greeting .. wish I could tell you all differently:/

Where to start?
I booked a weekend to celebrate Valentine's Day
First, I asked for a basic service (room preparation, champagne, petals and flowers). I must have contacted them about ten times.
Blatant lack of professionalism. The hotel did not respond to my requests. I am never on a phone call with the same person. Telling me he was calling me back without even doing it.
When we arrived, we were amazed: a “wooden board” to separate a noisy terrace.
(is it a housing estate)
I ignore the wait to get to the room.
Positive point: the view was magnificent.
At 10 p.m., no evening service. The hotel is empty, the watchman has disappeared.
It doesn't deserve these 4 stars at all.
Breakfast was scheduled for 9:30 a.m. It had to be ordered and served at 11am.
Treatment not carried out cannot be refunded, even though a manager confirmed this to us.
Catastrophic to flee to other, much more welcoming places.

Adult only hotel where romance is at its maximum. I really liked the private swimming pool which is of course the best part of this establishment. The service was top notch. The service in Guadeloupe is often criticized and there is nothing to say, everything is done to make the customer comfortable. I also really liked the details of the decoration of the rooms. Small point where you have to be careful is at breakfast time because all the dishes and the cartons of fruit juice were behind the bar visible to the customer and it was a bit messy and above all it was not up to standard. all my services offered. But this is really just to quibble. Special mention to the receptionists who were really competent and pleasant. To do and redo.

We wanted to spend two days of complete rest. The hotel part is appreciable. The room was really nice with sea views. The bedding was spotless. There was a small pool on the terrace but the water was too cold for us. There was also on the terrace a kind of kitchenette with a cooktop, mini fridge as well as everything necessary for the kitchen, pans, frying pan, glasses, plates, cutlery....
The biggest problem with this hotel is the service part. There is no bar or restaurant. To do this, you have to leave the hotel to go about 100 meters away to find the hotel bar and restaurant. It seems to me shameful especially for the elderly, of which I am a part.
Fortunately the staff is very nice and helpful. It saves a little the look I have on the experience of my stay.
Too bad because I don't keep much positive from this stay. In any case I will not go back.

This is not a Hotel with hotel service. This is a tourist residence. Nice new room, quite small and clean. Service is a disaster. Réception, arrival, booking confirmation , everything is complicated. breakfast service is long… long… and not very kind neither friendly. This new resort is managed certainly by people who made a financial investment ( with support of EEC funds…) but do not have no experience of providing guest services to people. Do not consider you will be in a high level service place or a hotel service, minimum here is the rule. Management is totally absent of the place. Asked to meet them to complain and explain what “service” means, they do not care , same for the employee who are not coming from the hotel and service industry. What a pity because the location is beautiful.

This Caribbean hotel and spa is a lovely Oasis on Basse Terre. The staff are very friendly and the relatively new establishment is located on a breathtaking cliff with fantastic views of the sea. A short walk down the hill and there is a very quiet beach with access to the warm water and a restaurant bar full of flavors and libations.
