Gîte tastefully decorated and ideal for relaxation. The view of the sea is magnificent with beautiful sunsets. We were in the royal blue lodge. What a joy to have breakfast in the company of very endearing and not shy birds. As for the evenings, we had the joy of being accompanied by small lizards and frogs, all very discreet. We met the mother hen and her 9 teenage chicks who were walking in this beautiful garden, including one more adventurous than the others who liked to visit us when we returned from our walks 😃 A real pleasure for the whole family. The cottage is very well located so we were able to easily visit all of Guadeloupe. We lacked nothing (bedding, mosquito nets, towels, tea towels... everything was perfect). First breakfast offered (coffee, milk, fruit juice, rusks and jam). Washing machine available, which was very appreciated for our 2-week stay. We will return with great pleasure.

Very quiet and pleasant place. Very comfortable, clean and functional cottages. We spent 15 days at the Massuenda cottages and we had nothing to say. birds came every morning to ask us for food, chickens and cock crowing for those who love. Better than the noise of cars, planes or trains. Even our mascot that we named Poupette, the little dog who came to visit us every morning or every evening. She came to eat (shhh you shouldn't say it, laugh) Victoria and her husband were very friendly. and available if you need. Not far from the crossing road, Malendure beach in Bouillante. We had an excellent stay at the Jardins de l'Espagne, in the Mussaenda gite. Everything was perfect (reception, environment, cleanliness, swimming pool...). The kitchen and living room are outdoors which allows you to disconnect and fully enjoy the magnificent landscape and the tropical forest. The cottage is very well equipped and we appreciated the presence of toys for the children. A cottage that we recommend!

We are delighted with our stay at the Jardins de l'Espérance🤩. 10 great days in a tropical garden with sea view (we had the Rose Corail gîte) and swimming pool to cool off. The owners Victoria and Yves take great care of their guests and we warmly thank them for their welcome and their good advice for discovering Basse Terre😉🙏3 km from Malendure beach and the Cousteau Reserve and where you will have the choice go snorkeling, kayaking, go for walks to observe cetaceans, go diving...But also refresh yourself in the botanical gardens: Deshaies a few kilometers away or the Valombreuse garden in Petit Bourg....So many things to discover 😃😃We will come back for sure 😉

Great location for traveling with family and/or friends thanks to the 4 separate bungalows. We really enjoyed the pool and the outdoor kitchenette. The owners were really attentive and attentive to our needs. I would come back without hesitating.

Total immersion in a magnificent tropical garden with a view of the sea. Unforgettable stay in Bouillante at the Jardins de l'Espagne. Nothing to complain about, everything was great. We will especially remember the vegetation and the calm, but also the sympathy of our hosts, the little touches on arrival as well as the games made available for children.

Je ne peux que vous faire part de mon ressenti, le village de Bouillante est situé sur la façade ouest de la Basse Terre et donc sur la mer des Caraïbes et à proximité de la soufrière, je trouve ce coin relativement 'sauvage' et personnellement je ne vois pas de contraintes particulières pour visiter le territoire de Basse Terre en partant de ce lieu.
Dans tous les cas, pour se déplacer une voiture de location est nécessaire, les routes sont en bon état.

L'année dernière nous avons payé environ 600€ pour 9 nuits. Il y a bien la climatisation dans la chambre qui fonctionne très bien. Pour la nuit ce n'est pas vraiment utile car situation en hauteur donc bien ventilé.
