For whatever reason, I love buffalos. And Zion NP is, I think, one of the most beautiful places on the face of the earth. So when my husband booked a stay at ZMR outside of Zion for my birthday, I was excited and prepared to be awed. Just looking at the pictures, you get a sense that you'll be able...

Pay the extra money for the new cabins. Don't stay in Meadows cabins. Old t.v.'s. no cable, barely wi-fi. ( I know, not suppose be spending time in the room. But the morning and night I like the news.) Looks like we were the 1st guests of season in cabin 110. The TV had a ton of dust on it....

My family of 5 stayed at the Zion Mountain Ranch for 3 nights in April. We called the ranch to let them know that we would be arriving late, and they could not have been more accommodating and pleasant. They even gave us a cabin upgrade at this time. We arrived to find that they had left us everything we...

We spent 2 fantastic nights at this Ranch. The rooms were clean and kept clean with daily maid service. We watched the sun set each night whilst having a few cold ones on the porch, as the buffalo grazed in the surrounding fields. There is one slightly negative thing to be aware of and that is that the Ranch is...

My Daughter, Grandaughter and I recently stayed two nights at Zion Mountain Ranch. It's is a cluster of cabins and homes located outside the East entrance of Zion National Park. The location is beautiful, we stayed in one of the buffaloo view cabins with a porch swing view of the amazing buffalo herd. My Grandaughter loved visiting the bunnies, chicks,...

This could be a fabulous place to stay. Rustic cabins, beautiful surroundings and animals at every turn, but there is a sense that they're out to get your money from the start. Small thing, but It's wrong to advertise your campfire and then point you to the area in the shop where you can purchase your 'smores bits and pieces....

Driving in, you feel like it is going to be a fabulous place! Not quite. We stayed in a small cabin, cute with a gas fireplace, etc. We stayed only one planned night. We have not been so unplugged in a long time. That is not a bad thing...kind of refreshing, BUT, we had to stay in touch with our...

We booked our stay at the ranch and had plans of visiting Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. Upon arrival we weren't exactly certain what to expect. What we found was an amazing place. We at first assumed that there would be cable tv, internet, etc. We were pleasantly surprised that there were none of those. And it was a...

Great room, great views, great little gift shop, close to Zion, up close buffalo encounters, restaurant was kind of meh. We stayed in the champagne suite on the buffalo preserve. Beautiful views, great tub and shower, cabin was the perfect blend of rustic but modern. Had a front porch glider with views of the preserve. West entrance of Zion is...

I thought a lot about this place, both during and after we left, and the word I keep coming to is "inattentive." It's really unfortunate, because I wanted to love this place. Because of its location, and the vibe, I didn't expect that we would be waited on hand and foot, and that's not what we wanted. However, we paid...
