We've visited ZIon 13 times now. The majority of visits have been spent at the Zion Lodge. We usually travel in March - which includes their breakfast package. This time we tried out November, since we were celebrating an anniversary. Things are changing there, and Xanterra should take note. The changes are not for the best. First of all, the... More

This hotel is located near the middle of the Zion scenic road, within the park. It is a great location to stay for easy and quick access to the various attractions in the park. In addition, you get a red pass to drive into the park up to the lodge, while everyone else has to take the shuttle. We stayed... More

What a novel idea - to have Thanksgiving dinner at Zion Lodge. Our family had time to walk a short trail before dinner. After waiting in line, our table was ready, right next to an imposing stone fireplace. Dinner was buffet style, and considering the amount of people they were feeding, the food was good and the service was excellent.... More

Our room was clean and spacious. The surroundings are awe inspiring. The staff was wonderful, friendly and attentive. Loved the room decor. We saw deer and turkeys feasting on the grass lawn. We stayed in a lodge room. I had requested a ground floor room and my request was honored. We took the bed and breakfast package and enjoyed the... More

This was a really great facility. It was clean, the rooms were thoughtfully equipped, and the access to the trails and parks was amazing. It was worth the extra cash, and we were sorry when we left the park for lunch one day (there were long entrance lines to re-enter, and the food outside was just as expensive and worse... More

We stayed over Thanksgiving for two nights in one of the cabins. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was everything we were expecting, but the room was not cleaned very well and our experience was consistent with some of the other reviewers' comments regarding the lack of attention to detail when it comes to cleaning, i.e. dust and dirt,... Family spent 2 nights in a cabin at Zion, arrived Thanksgiving day. The cabin room was cozy and comfortable and all services were top notch. While the park was busy, the shuttle service moved us along without much waiting. The park is stunning and the Narrows hike is unlike anything we have experienced. Great visit!

The room was spacious and clean. The scenery around the lodge is pretty. Its is located so you can catch the buses rather easy. They have a nice gift shop and good restaurants within easy walking distance.

....we stayed at the lodge for two nights. We had a second floor room in the Sentinel building, near the main reception and dining area and overlooking the green. Great ethos of recycling and eco friendliness throughout the hotel and park. The staff were delightful and friendly. Our room was rustic (expected) in design but not particularly clean, could have... The location of this lodge is ideal. Anytime you can stay inside a national park it's so very convenient. There are many Mule Deer that call the area around the lodge home late in the day. So you're pretty much guaranteed close Mule Deer sightings. In the morning there was a flock of wild turkeys foraging for snacks. The room... More
