We only had one night to spend in Zion so we splurged for a room within the park. The lodge room was very spacious and super duper comfortable. Then we walked out onto our second floor balcony and were blown away with the view. It...More
We (4) stayed in a cabin associated with the lodge. Clean, comfortable and quiet. So nice to sit on the front porch quietly in the morning with a cup of coffee, or to grab midday lunch in between hikes, or just a happy hour chat...More
Excellent location. The lodge is a great place to stay since you are right in Zion National Park and not off the park property. The whole environment I’d rustic not a fancy hotel. The food in the restaurants is acceptable and the service was very good....More

If you stay overnight at the zion lodge, its restaurant is the only place open in the evening. The lodge, its restaurant, the cabins, a small gift shop, and a cafe type eatery (which is not open late) are the only buildings in the valley. Daytime you can pick up sandwiches to put in your room fridge for evening. The restaurant was not packed when we were there, because the only people there in the evening are those sleeping in the cabins or lodge. If you are not staying over night, you have to leave by around 7pm because the trams stop running and daytripper cars are not allowed in.
