We stayed 2 nights in October 2016. The Lodge is easy to find with a large car park a short walk away from the main buildings. The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed. Our room backed onto what sounded like a generator but it didn't run all night and we had no problems sleeping. It also had...

No elevator, no Wifi, no TV (only in the Lobby) - the Lodge cannot be suspected of having abundant room facilities, but it more than makes up for this with helpful staff and a great location - ideal for a trip through Sequoia National Park.

This place was like being in the set of Dirty Dancing or an old B murder mystery? A stunning setting the lodges are old and dated and need much attention. Just a coffee machine in the room, but no other amenities and a very basic but oddly huge bathroom. Horrible bedding . Check in was odd and the staff not...

Montecito Lodge provides the perfect base for visiting Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks. All inclusive, this lodge means you don't need to worry about meals/drinks and if you decide to go out for the day you can get lunch as a takeaway. The lodge is easy to find and set in a beautiful part of the forest, with a big lake...

We had a great stay at montecito. Good location to visit the park. We had a cabin with showers and restrooms in one of the bathhouses, which was no trouble, since we were there in a quiet period. The wine at 5 was nice and the food, although not excellent, exceeded our expectations.

We often travel with friends and we all prefer something a little more upscale than this place appeared to be, but considering the location, we decided to give it a go. Our two nights here were so much FUN! We all agreed we'd made a good decision and we'd encourage others to stay here too. The included food was wonderful...

What a find! We had an ensuite room in the lodge for three nights - there was no daily room clean but this was not a problem. Very comfortable bed. It is quite camp like with a huge dining hall and a bar and games room to the side of this. All meals are served buffet style and were included...

We had a wonderful time last week. The room in the lodge was quiet, great views, and comfortable bed. The meals were delicious and good variety. Some a little too fancy. We enjoyed ping pong and meeting new people in the large dining hall. It was close to all the attractions. The staff was friendly, especially the cook.

As a parent of two younger children (4 and 2) we face a dilemma of finding affordable, comfortable family excursions from our base in SoCal. My wife stumbled across this lodge when looking for a destination suitable for our family. I was optimistic based on the reviews I read. Once we arrived, I realized that all of the reading and...
