This little cluster of cabins around a quaint and rustic café is nestled high up in a hidden corner of Sequoia National Park - the road is as steep and winding as they all say it is but it is a spectacular drive, punctuated along the way with majestic sequoias and mountain vistas that make you want to stop and... We had lunch in the little cafe at the resort, and although the menu is short, they came through on the taste. We opted to eat outside, which was very pleasant. My husband and I both had sandwiches that were more than ample, and some chips. It was a nice lunch stop under the pines.

My husband and i loved our stay at the cabin - we thoroughly enjoyed the camp fire, stove, trails nearby and staff were super friendly. Definitely take your own food and booze, as there is very little to choose from once you're there. We stayed in September, so things were winding down and it was a lovely time to be... More

Mineral King is tucked into a remote corner of Sequoia and offers splendid hiking (pristine forest, alpine lakes, giant Sequoias, and depending on the season, meadows carpeted in flowers). We can't wait to visit again and would happily return to Silver City. Our cabin was rustic yet very comfortable, with a full kitchen and lots of shared space for hanging... More

I spent Labor Day weekend in the Paradise Ridge Chalet with a group of friends. Everything about Silver City Resort is so well calculated. The cabin was very clean, kitchen fully-stocked, fire pit stocked with firewood, and we were eve provided with a cintronella candle to keep pesky insects away. Our cabin had a bathroom with a shower, but there... More

A group of friends stayed at the resort over Labor Day weekend. We stayed in one of the premium cabins. It was beautiful with all of the necessary emanates. I just couldn't have been happier, the staff were the great -- the games, roads, and trails were all pristine. Just a perfect place to get away, unplug, and enjoy nature... More

The place was exactly as described. The setting in the mountains is worth the scary drive up & down the 25 miles of paved road (only a small section is gravel & it is fine for a sedan). I had one of the inexpensive cabins with no electricity but it was fine. I am coming back with friends to try... More

We stayed at the Atwell Mill campground and bought a few things at Silver City store and used the showers. Very friendly low key place. We pre-purchased our showers for the next day in case they were closed. The showers were charmingly rustic and clean. No waiting at 6 PM after our hike to Mosquito Lake. Prices are generally reasonable.... More

Our chalet (Shooting Star) perfect for a couple wanting a very nice secluded getaway. We usually see a lot of wildlife right for the roomy deck. But most of all it is the staff, all very nice and friendly always ready to help (oh and the home made pie!). Michael manager, Sarah, Hannah, Zac, Jonathan, Cheyanne, Ryan and many more... More

We had never been to the Sequoia National Forest and were very surprised to find this place. It is beautiful and the people who mange it pay great attention to detail. The cabins are amazing. They offer primitive amenities, and I do not mean that in a bad way. We stayed in the Honeymoon cabin and it used a wood... More
