Julie: I was surprised to see your review indicating the Lodge was very dirty. In other reviews, the Manager, Dan, promised he would be checking the cleanliness of the rooms. I guess that's why this company lost Yosemite National Park. Good job Dan! How bad was your room?

Actually, our review indicated that cleanliness was not a problem. The hotel is dated and service is spotty although friendly. Please be aware that we stayed in the lodge itself and not one of the cabins.

Ernie: I had a similar experience and found the cabins outdated and disgusting. We had read the reviews and when Dan C. (Manager) promised to start checking rooms himself, we figured this would improve. Apparently, Dan is too busy writing letters to actually check the rooms. It is a true shame that after the incident at Yosemite that NPS opted to keep Delaware North in the Parks at all. According to one of the managers, Bart V., most of the mgt. here is from the old crew that lost the Yosemite business, so dont get your expectations up!
