This was a first tent camping experience for my small family of three. I was adamant about getting a campground with showers, but they were all booked. Luckily we were led here or we might not have discovered this campground. The place is beautiful, and campsites are pretty spread out. Like other reviews say, the sites on the outside have...

When we arrived at the camp site, we did not have reservations. It was the first time camping here too. What a beautiful place with the big sequoia tree around the camp site and the restrooms were really clean. It is close to Hume Lake which is great for fishing and swimming. Kids loved it. We will be back in...

Close to Hume lake, not too far from all the attractions and huge trees etc. Stayed here once, will absolutely be back in the future. Camp host was nice and very helpful as well. Lots to see and do in the area.

I went there because that was all that was left for campgrounds near Hume lake. It's OK, there really isn't that much to do unless if you like walking and seeing and climbing the huge stumps but it was a good camp site. The bathrooms are only a dug in type of toilet, kind of like a port-o-potty. There are...

We really enjoyed our visit to Princess Campground. It was our first time here but we have been to many different campgrounds throughout the state. Everything was very clean. One thing I was hesitant about was the vault toilets but the campground hosts came around several times a day and cleaned the restrooms so there was no mess or odor....

We've been staying at this campground for years, and it's always been 5 star. The sites are gorgeous and quiet. There are only vault toilets and water spigots at this campground, which is fine if you are a rustic camper. We have always loved this campground. Camp hosts in the past have always been friendly and helpful. This site, while...

Beautiful campground with lots of Sequoias within the campground. Loved that there was plenty of space and that the campsites did not sit on top of each other. We camped during the week for 4 nights in August, it felt like we had the campground to ourselves. Pit toilets were clean as they as pit toilets can be. Hume lake...

We ended up staying here when we couldn't get reservation at Hume Lake Campground and were really happy that we did. Plenty of trees, clean vault toilets, nice host and a very informative interpretation program in the evenings and mornings good for all ages. There is also a nice hiking trail near by that has a great view of a...

One of the best things Princess Campground has going for it is its location, halfway between Kings Canyon and Sequoia Natl. Parks. From Princess, we were able to spend one full day in each park without driving too far. It's also near Hume Lake, the only place to swim in either park (safely--people swim, and drown, in the rivers every...

This was my family and I first trip to the Sequoias.Princess campground was in the perfect location for this trip.We were in campsite #90 which was shaded early morning & evening.Well maintained flat campsites. Not having showers, sink,or flushing toilets sucked. They did clean the Vaults daily. The proximity to Hume Lake (10min) & Grants Grove (15min) was perfect.Go to Sandy cove beach @...

“All the campsites are great. Get one a few sites from the toilets. They are kept quite clean, but if someone forgets to put the lid down, can smell a bit.”
