Very nice national park lodging in the heart of Sequoia Natl. Park. Not luxurious, but very comfortable and nice. Note no elevators, so if you're on the 3rd floor, you're walking up steps (after walking uphill from the parking lot). Incredible scenery and walking trails every way you look. The park is in the mountains, about 7500 feet, so you...

I booked 12 months ago and have been reading reviews since then, now I'm here. Now 90% of the reviews I read had some complaint: slow restaurant service; poor food quality; no mobile phone service, slow wifi.... and the rest.... In my experience (I'm here for 4 nights): the food is fantastic!; the staff are very helpful and friendly; when...

I wish that our national parks system could provide a higher standard of accommodation but as it stands the lodging and dining is contractd it out to "hospitality" companies (and I use that term lightly) that are easily outdone by any average Holiday Inn Express today. We arrived at around 8 p.m. to find that our room had been given...

Very clean, comfortable, rather luxurious hotel ideally located in the center of the spectacular Sequoia National Park. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Excellent restaurant in the main lodge building. Short drive to a more casual cafe/diner and general store market. One hour drive north or south covers many of the exhibits in the Park. Shuttle run often and get you to...

Locations was great. Easy access to key attractions. Room was spacious, but decor tired. Wifi was ridiculously slow. No cell service. Food was average at best. Some items were very good, others inedible. Lavender ice cream with honey was outstanding. Staff was friendly.

The Wuksachi Lodge is in the middle of Sequoia National Park at more than 6000 feet above sea level. The lodge staff is professional and the dining room serves quality food at reasonable prices. The setting is spectacular. There is a few hundred yard walk separating the three residential lodging buildings from the main lodge which features a sizable dining...

I stay in a lot of wilderness lodges. In fact, it's part of my job to take people to places like this and I bought a group of happy but weary campers to stay and eat here. Let me tell you that I have never experienced such poor service, bad food and grouchy staff in anywhere else I have stayed...ever....

Imagine having the opportunity to build lodging in one of our beautiful national parks. Well, the Wuksachi Lodge is located and the magnificent Sequoia National Park. it is nestled in the woods after a long and winding ascent through the forest and past the mighty and majestic sequoias. The lodge is within a short walking distance of the three buildings...
