Fly in on a float plane, walk on the beach (often bears on the beach too) to the ranger station. After a short briefing, venture down the trail, over the bridge and through the woods 1.2 miles to the bear viewing platforms. Awesome experience!

We flew into king salmon from anchorage, then took a float plane to brooks camp for the day. Float plane back to king salmon, stayed the night, then back to brooks camp for the day. Back to king salmon and then anchorage that evening. The...More
