Loved colter bay, picnic area by the lake with fire pits and charcoal grill! Staff were amazing! Take the float trip down the snake river & ask for Brian ! An amazing guide! We saw lots of Bald eagles! Visitor center friendly, with talks about the area! We want to bring our grand kids here! Cabins warm, cozy and clean!

Everyone had a great time at Colter Bay. Our family has grown to 16 in three generations. We selected Colter Bay and the magnificent Tetons to bring everyone together for a vacation. Three two-room cabins provided the lodging we needed. These cabins are large enough to bring all16 of us together in one room for games and snacks. Across the... More

Our first night of our vacation was at the Colter Bay Village Cabins. Neither my husband or I are much for camping and cabins but we were really looking forward to our trip to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. The cabin that we stayed in at Colter Bay was exactly what I had hoped for. A small cabin... More

We spent 4 nights at Colter Bay in cabin 432 this July. This was our first visit to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. The lack of technological access everywhere was a welcome change. We loved the rustic cabin and knew exactly what we booked. We planned for it and were completely satisfied. The views from the marina at Colter Bay... More

I have been coming to these cabins ever since my parents first introduced me to them when I was young and I have done the same with my children as well. They are not for the person who is looking for luxury but for the family that is looking for that back to the basics in the woods. You get... More

Thank you for your kind words in regards to Colter Bay Village and what an honor it is providing hospitality to so many generations of your family. Our charming, but rustic cabins are perfect for someone looking to experience the National Park for everything it is worth. Booking directly through us is the best way to go as our cabins... More

Great little cabin in the Heart of the Grand Tetons. Clean, comfortable, and good shower. We were here 14 years ago and has it grown! Must be three times the number of cabins. They even have WiFi in the guest lounge, the office and in the restaurant. If you want to spend the money for more creature comforts, look at... More

Nice rustic cabin. Clean! It is what it is advertized to be. Felt like we went back in time, but that is what we expected. It even smelled old! Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Great location to get up the next morning and head into Yellowstone National Park.

This was our 3rd time in the Grand Tetons but the first time we stayed in the park. Colter bay served us well because we wanted to get and early start to Yellowstone. We made reservations here because nothing was available in Yellowstone when we made reservations early in the year. It was raining so our activities were somewhat curtailed... More

Stayed in the RV park for 12 days. For a National Park, the RV Park is pretty nice. Sites are well shaded, not too close, where we were, but no campfires were allowed in this section. I did notice that the first few loops looked liked the sites may have been closer together. While we were there, end of June,... More

Our cabin was musty, but clean. Twin rooms with bath in the middle. No sitting area, but there is a community lounge that is ok. Great marina, with boat, kayak and conoe rentals. Restaurant on premises is adequate with friendly staff. Good value if you want to stay in the park. Buggy this time of year. There is a pretty... More
