Colter Bay Village is a great place and the staff could not be more helpful! The cabins are from the many dude ranches that used to be in the Jackson Hole area before the National Park was established! Instead of destroying the old cabins they...More
With a last minute change in plans, we were able to book a cabin at Colter Bay for 3 nights. The location in the middle of the park is very convenient, and it doesnt have the busy feel of Jackson Lodge area (buy is very...More
We were very happy with our stay. The cabin was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. You also have everything you need close by. Internet, grocery store, gift shop, restaurant, and you can rent a boat or kayaks which I would recommend. Fishing was...More
The cabin was nice, rustic, though after staying at Signal Mountain I missed sitting on the porch at night. For people with a budget the General store is a great place for food at a reasonable price. They have a deli with various types of...More
We recently stayed several days/nights in the RV Park of Colter Bay Village. Wonderful experience. Check-in staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Campground was clean, bathrooms clean, sites arranged so that you didn't feel crowded. More offered there than we could've possibly done in our...More

We stayed in the tent cabins rather than the campground so i cant comment specifically on the rv sites. You absolutely must stay in yellowstone if youre planning to spend time there. Its a good 2+ hr drive just to the most southern sites in yellowstone from gt and itd be even farther to hit the northern part of the park. Grand teton by itself is worth at least two nights though if you like to hike you should spend more time because the hiking and ranger programs are spectacular. For yellowstone id plan minimum 3 full days of sightseeing. I also think rv rental is a bad idea. Much cheaper to rent cabins or tent cabins plus finding parking in summer for an rv will be miserable at all sights. Both parks are very crowded and driving around in an rv will not be fun. Bp
