Went with my husband and sister and brother in law. Stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin and and went fishing and launched the boat at the great dock. A great place for family and friends. Plan to go again every summer.
Everyone should visit this place. It is one of the most amazing parks you will ever see. The tent cabins are a nice step up from tent camping but are still affordable. A beautiful place that we hope to get back to someday.
The cabins are very basic, but you are conveniently right in the park. It's quiet, and the stars at night are amazing. There is a very nice restaurant nearby. We had a good meal, which was great after a long day of hiking.
We stayed at Colter Bay RV Park for two nights in a pop-up. It is a very nice campground - but it was also the most expensive campground in our 21 day trip from Atlanta to Glacier and back.
Nice bathrooms, quiet, restful.
This place is just like I remembered it from 40 years ago. The "Village" has a general store, restaurant and campground. It is a great place to regroup as you tour the park. I was a bit disappointed in the limited merchandise of the general...More
