Stayed in the east side buildings during my visit. Basic concrete buildings from the '60s I would guess. Nothing fancy here, just the basics. No wi-fi anywhere near the rooms and very limited cell service. Quite a long walk from the office, Market, restaurant and tavern. No air conditioning, I wouldn't want to stay here in summer, was quite warm...

We visited the last week of December, busy but not too crazy! Great location to stay at many lookouts in the south rim, there is a shuttle service takes you to and from the points. Our room was located in front of a beautiful woodsy area with lots of trees and snow! Has great walking trails if you don't want...

We have been to the Yavapai Lodge 25 years ago on our Honeymoon. And since then, no investments were done, it would seem... Very small rooms, heating not working (in January, with 4" of snow overnight), Facility Management not even bothering to come and look at it (but putting a report in that everything works at the front desk). We...

Location is definitely its advantage. It’s at the center of the park close to everything. Convenient for all sorts of transportation. The room is relatively clean and well kept, although quite small and out of date. It is really more like a motel than a lodge. The staff is super friendly and helpful even in the midst of a vast...

The room was clean and comfortable! You have everything you need. The bathroom supplies you with shower gel, shampoo, towels etc. There is a TV with all the Channels you need! The beds are comfortable and clean. You can walk in about 10 minutes to the South Rim! Wonderful!

We wanted somewhere close to the South Rim so that we could watch both the sunset and sunrise without having a lengthy journey to and from where we were staying, and Yavapai Lodge provided exactly that. It was very clean, comfortable with a good private bathroom and shower and restaurant and bar close to hand and at £150 ($184) a...

The Lodge located in the Vicinity of the Grand Canyon is one of the most wonderful places one could stay. Located inside a forest area, the quietness in the surroundings is indeed stunning. We reached around 6 PM in the evening and it soon became pretty dark and chilly. The Sunrise points are mostly located nearby and hence we could...

We chose this hotel BECAUSE they advertise pubicly and clearly on their website that they accept pets. There are lots of reviews about them having been chosen by others because of their positive pet policy too. But importantly, as of the day we made the reservation, their WEBSITE clearly promotes that they accept pets and even has publicly available their...

My son and I stayed at this property on a recent trip to the Grand Canyon. The property is a series of buildings spread over a large area that requires a car or long walk to navigate. We were allocated a room in a building that was about 300 metres from the reception area. The room was quite small and...

We stayed here in the west buildings during the Thanksgiving week. Turned out to be a great spot! We easily hiked into the canyon right from out front door. No need to use your car once you unpack which is ideal. The location can't be beat. A 5 min walk leads you right to the canyon. We hiked down the...
