We stayed in one of the hotel-style rooms at the Maswik Lodge (as opposed to one of the cabins). In terms of National Park lodging, the Maswik seemed to be pretty par for the course. We don't expect 5-star lodging when visiting National Parks, and this stay was no different. The room was basic, but clean, spacious and well appointed....

Good place to stay. It's little dark, but was manageable. Staff was very good, quite impressive. Cafe and food was excellent, lot of options and good quality. Only problem, soap and lotions are not good quality, and towels are used with heavy chemicals, suggest travelers to carry own towels and soaps.

We stayed in this Lodge for 4 nights while visiting our son who works at "The Canyon." The room was comfortable, the bed just right, the bathroom clean and laid out well. The air conditioner-heater was very noisy, and hard to figure out how to work. Our room looked out over the tracks and was only 50 yards or so...

Stayed one night. The room is very basic and a bit dated. It was clean and the bathroom was the nicest part. Wasn't the most comfortable bed but for the night and the location can't go wrong. We didn't eat at the cafeteria closest to the lodge instead went to the other section and had dinner at one of the...

Maswik is a five-minute walk to the South Rim and the price is reasonable. The rooms are old-fashioned but clean, and the beds are comfy. There's a fridge and a Mr Coffee, so make your own breakfast. The food at Maswik is mediocre. We very much enjoyed our meals at Bright Angel Lodge and next time would try very hard...

This lodge is very close to the South Rim and a cafeteria. The room was clean and had a coffee maker and small refrigerator. It is quiet. None of this is enough to overcome the poor design. The rooms enter from the outside like an old roadside motel and there is a window that opens on the door side of...

The rooms are in several accommodation blocks, room was dull, but adequate. The catering was a ten minute walk to the lodges cafe. My wife's dinner was awful it really is a cafe. The breakfast was not much better. I would not recommend this lodge unless you specifically want to view sunset or sunrise over the Grand Canyon.

But that is about all that you can say, Basic room, uncomfortable bed and flat pillows. The hair dryer was broken, but it was quickly replaced within 30 minutes of my call to the front desk. Quiet room, but quite far from the lodge. Unfriendly check in staff. But the room was fine for one night. Food in buffet mediocre,...

Stayed here as part of a tour with Titan Travel. They now know of all of our feelings and our recommendation. Great position near rim of Grand Canyon but that is all you can say that is great. Ok I know it's a lodge and not a top rated hotel but I didn't expect a 10 minute walk to a...

We stayed one night in a king room which was comfortable and clean. The rooms are in lodges away from the hotel reception area but you can park your car outside the door. The bed was good, the shower was ok and the air conditioning in the room was very welcome. We also used the tea and coffee making facilities...
