excellent place for the price. It's not luxurious but it's clean and well maintained. Coffee maker, fridge, fancy shampoo, lotion, and soap are provided. 2 fans in room. We stayed on April 30th and it got down to 30 F, so we were glad for the heater in the room and bathroom. super close to the cafeteria which had good...

My wife and I are National Park junkies. We love the Grand Canyon's primeval stillness and beauty. This time all that was available was the Maswik Lodge. The basic lodge room is functional but the level of cleanliness was pretty low. Carpet dirty, stained sheets, towels like sandpaper. We probably should have just laid our sleeping bags on the bed....

We spent one night in the Grand Canyon as that was all that was available and it was a great pick. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable in the pines. There are a number of buildings and we stayed in Pinyon Pine. The rooms have a coffeemaker and a smalll fridge. Our coffeemaker was not working so we called...

We stayed in April - rented a cabin, which turned out to be a large cabin split into 4 rooms. Didn't have any problems with thin walls or hearing neighbors. Parking near the cabins is first-come-first-served. Short walk to Maswik Lodge cafeteria area. Maybe a quarter-mile to the rim of the Canyon. Overall a pleasant stay, aside from a snotty...

We stayed here for one night on a USA road trip and absolutely loved the location. it is only 5 minutes walk to the rim but you'll want to travel a little way in your car or the free bus to get better views. It feels churlish to complain about anything in such an amazing location but the bar and...

The Maswik Lodge was just fine as the first choice not located directly on the rim. Ask for the North section and second floor if possible. There are also 2 buildings in the north section that are single story. The place is clean and service is good at the front desk and all other areas. The big thing is, it...

The room was clean, with a nice bathroom, sliding glass door to a balcony that overlooked the wooded surroundings. There was air conditioning and a fridge in the room. The only complaint I have was that the bed was noisy and lumpy. Every time my husband moved the bed made a noise. It was lucky I was exhausted from hiking....

Myself and my partner stayed here for one night in August 2013. The rooms are clean and basic and are fine to come back to after a day trekking around The Grand Canyon. There is no air conditioning in the south lodge but there are fans provided and I found that to be enough. Suited our needs!

We stayed in one of the less expensive rooms, not in the main lodge. It was old, but definitely clean and comfortable. I was not expecting much, but it was fine for the night and we were surprised it had a TV and refrigerator. There is no air-conditioning, but it was cold when we were there so it didn't matter....
