Bright Angel remains my favorite, having stayed at several facilities. Brimming with old west flavor, rooms are nevertheless nicely appointed with good bathrooms, some with fireplaces. AND you're right on perhaps the most iconic of views of the canyon. And you're near everything. We got snowed in! January without the crowds was a wonderland , greatly to be recommended. Bright...

I was fortunate to be here during offseason. It was a little cooler but perfect for hiking. I met a guy from Lithuiania I hiked with down the Kaibab trail for over 3 miles and back up, I also hiked with some people from Sweden and Denmark and met people from several states as well, all in the beauty of...

We had a great view through the trees of the Grand Canyon South Rim. The only thing I would suggest is to run the water in the shower for a while to ensure the water is warm. Wifi was very not very strong. I shut down all my data so it wouldn't run. I am glad we visited in February...

The lodge lobby is cozy with a nice fireplace and we had requested a room with a view & the view was awesome over the canyon. The rooms are pretty basic but the location was great and we didn't spend much time in our room anyway - too busy exploring the south rim & the village. There are plenty of...

We were lucky enough to find a cancellation for New Year's Eve in a rimside cabin for one night and a non-rimside cabin for our second night. The cabins were just adorable, especially the rimside cabin which had a sofa and coffee table, the other just had a chair. Did NOT experience noise from adjacent users as otherwise reported -...

Finally arrived at the Lodge after being held up by a snow storm the day before. In the lobby had a roaring fire that gave a cozy feeling to the place. The views of the canyon are really spectacular at the back of the hotel. There is a trail that runs alongside the canyon rim that has interesting points on...

We stayed here 1 night while driving cross country. Not fancy but everything needed for a comfortable stay at the Grand Canyon! Bright Angel Lodge is an 8 minute walk for an upscale dinner. With the prices of this lodge I wouldn't stay outside of the Grand Canyon. We woke up at sunrise and it was one of the best...

Bright Angel cabin exceeded our expectations by being much more nicely decorated than the pictures on the website. Was quite cosy too on the second night once we found the thermostat and got the radiators working. Bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. The view from our cabin (6152) was straight over the canyon -...

We stayed in our own private cabin and just loved it. It was much larger than I thought it would be with a living room, bedroom, bathroom and even a little entry way. It was quiet and cozy. It had a fridge and a microwave. It was the perfect starting point for our mule ride.
