This was our third stop on our cross country trek hauling our camper from Massachusetts. First off realize this is way off the beaten path. That said supply trucks don't get out there much. If you are camping get all your supplies if possible back in Kanab Utah if you are coming in that way. The so called town of...

Arrived campground which is on your right. checked in and went to site 24. There were a lot of trees and somewhat grass area. each site had a bbq pit and a picnic bench/table. the site is large enough to fit 6 tents or something like that. The trees provide nicely shaded areas. It was my first time camping and...

The Grand Canyon is a must see for anyone. We took a trip to the North Rim and were greeted warmly at the entry gate and upgraded our Zion & Bryce week pass to a National Parks Pass good for one year. Upon arriving, we stepped to the camping check-in desk upon being told "It will be just a minute",...

I've haven't stayed at south rim but from what I've heard the north rim is the place to be. The campground was booked out but despite that I at times felt like we had the Grand Canyon to ourselves. We came fully prepared to be self sufficient but the shop has everything you need we even bought a new air...

Beautiful campground with excellent tent pads. It's a short walk to the Grand Canyon Lodge and some of the best views from the North Rim not to mention a great slice of pizza at the Deli in the Pines. It's also within walking distance to The Grand Canyon Cookout Experience, a chuck wagon super and western show. The restrooms were...

It was on our list for years to camp at the Grand Canyon. Visited the south rim last year but didn't camp. Read info on the north rim and it sounded more our speed. Loved it! Could see the canyon from our site.

We've been to alot of campgrounds in the national parks- this campground easlily beats most of them. Better than anything we booked in Yellowstone or Rocky. Very close to all of the sites. The General Store at this campground is the best one we've ever seen in a NP. Wifi, smoothies, hot chocolate, ice, wood, camping supplies, beer are available...

I booked a campsite here for the maximum 7 nights, but spent two of those nights at remote sites (Point Sublime and Toroweap). So I actually was at this campground for 5 nights. I selected a campsite on the map that looked like it was fairly near a bathroom but not too close. As it turned out, the site was...

Pros: beautiful campsite with dispersed pitches under the trees, reasonable facilities and shop, amazing location next to the rim and a short walk from the Lodge, well-organised with easy parking, quiet, great fire pits, benches etc for cooking. The volunteers who checked us in were friendly and helpful. Cons: the dispersed sites mean slightly longer walk to the facilities, few...
