Great hike into the canyon but you have to be well prepared. Good hiking shoes, plenty of water!!, plenty nutricious snacks, don't hike in mid day because of the heat. Leave Indian garden before 4 pm to get back to the rim before dark! Remember...More

A ways down bright angel trail. It’s a good stop if you need a break. But nothing from a view or anything. Bright angel trail is great though. Well maintained. Water and restrooms. It’s easy to follow.

Indian Garden was great. There are covers for shade at the campsites. The rangers came out and introduced themselves. Also, there is a nearby creek to cool off. Water and bathrooms are easily accessible. There is lots of wildlife like deer and squirrels that are...More

It took us just under 5 hours from Indian Garden to the South Rim going up the Bright Angel Trail. But we also had 20 lbs. backpacks.
