Denali Backcountry Lodge which is beautifully located in the heart of the Denali National Park. Took 5 hours to get to by bus which was a Fantastic experience to see the wild life in Denali and would highly recommend other travelers to experience the round trip but not the overnight package. Got to the hotel 95 miles in and that... More

I cannot say enough nice things about the view, the room, the food, the people, the massage, the activities...... This place was even more than expected. If you are staying in the park this is the place to stay down by the river. Everyone was enthusiastic and friendly. The food was good and I was really impressed when the generator... More

Islandbornflorida, What a great experience to have while staying in a remote location in Alaska! This year we were certainly privileged to have such an experienced and talented staff to meet our guests needs. This included Becky and her many years of luxury spa experience, which you certainly took advantage of during your stay. As you know there can be... More

Denali is an amazing place, but don't expect to find all of your creature comforts in the heart of one of the best preserved National Parks. Staying here was luxurious, the food was amazing and fresh, and sharing a meal with our fellow guests was a fantastic treat! They offered yoga classes in the morning, led hikes, bikes that you... WOW! Where to begin. From the time you start your trip into the park you lose cell phone service. Cabins are extremely cozy however be prepared there is NO telephone, NO radio, NO clock, NO TV, NO WiFi! Have you gotten the picture. So if you are in need of entertainment aside from the naturalists talk in the evening, I... More

After our long bus ride into the park, we went to the lodge for dinner. The dinner was horrible. It had couscous that tasted like paste, overcooked asparagus, & tasteless salmon (hard to do I thought!) There were appetizers before dinner that were quite good (quesadillas) but there were no napkins or plates so the salsa dripped all over the... More

Read the other reviews. I agree with most comments. There are "day-trippers", but that shouldn't be a problem for you to enjoy your time. We were there for two nights and a third would have been better. Hikes and biking enjoyed. Kids liked gold panning. Food good and plentiful. Don't expect gourmet... the kitchen staff will accommodate as much as... More

What a great experience to stay inside the park, far removed from everything. The accommodations were very comfortable cabins.
