There certainly isn't much choice to stay in Death Valley! The room was a decent size and had 2 queen sized beds in it, shower was pretty good too! AC was noisy and at 100 degrees+ it is defiantly needed!!! Pool is nice and is the only place to cool down!!

First off, the location of the Furnace Creek Ranch is superb. It's located close to many of the attractions of Death Valley. It's sister facility, Furnace Creek Inn is right up the road. There's a gas station right next door, and the official visitor center is between the hotel and gas station. There's a small store on the property as...

I guess the Inn is much nicer, the ranch is wll... Very basic. Rooms are fairly clean, though look quite outdated, AC is so noisy it makes sleeping through it a challenge and, unless you have an unit on the ground level, there really isn't any space for you to sit outside (except for a very, very small balcony). The...

This is a really special place, how they can keep this place running in these harsh conditions is a miracle. The pool is fantastic. They have a solar lookout which is great. Every visitor to Death Valley should experience this place. We had a very nice stay!

Furnace Creek Ranch: Rooms were spacious, clean, and air conditioned. Closely located to three restaurants, a general store and a museum. Great oasis on the east side of Death Valley. I'd stay here again!

We stayed at the Furnace Creek Ranch on the recommendation of friends and it was even better than expected. Our room was a good size and comfortably furnished, with french doors opening onto a small patio with a couple of chairs (although all patios are open so there is no privacy). The room had a fridge and additional sink, under-sink...

It feels strange to find standard hotel amenities in such an inhospitable region, but one feels grateful for it. Rooms are quite spacious with small patios at the back. The furnishings are simple but functional. There’s air conditioning and a ceiling fan, well needed particularly at this time of year (end of May), with temperatures exceeding the forecast. Our room...

Don't confuse this property with the much nicer hotel a mile away. This is a property I would avoid in the future. The room I stayed in was dated and in need of a total renovation. The bathroom was tiny and hard to move around in, there were very few outlets for ones phone, laptop, etc. The AC was the...

We stayed at Furness Creek Ranch for one night whilst driving through Death Valley from Las Vegas to Yosemite. The Ranch is very close to the Visitors Centre and extremely well located for visiting Death Valley. The room was very comfortable, well equipped, clean and quiet. It had a lovely sunny balcony looking out over the golf course, on which...

We loved death valley and the ranch was a great place. We had a small room and it needed a decent clean. But we were there for the experience rather than the accommodation. We went horse riding which was totally awesome. The facilities here are great for a National Park.
