This classic old hotel is full of charm and Art Deco delight. The bar and terrace are delightful for a cocktail in the evening while watching the sunset or in the case of one special evening a HUGE dust storm approach and come through. The room we stayed in was basic and small, but just fine. The food and service...

Always a pleasure to visit a special place in this world and the Furnace Creek inn is one of them! Had drinks on the terrace and watched the sunset but then realized how the warmth disappeared and the chill sent us indoors to our restaurant reservation. Magnificent dining room with great views, courteous staff run by Xanterra a contractor to...

Very nice resort, more than expected for national park. Booked for two nights and paid $485.00. Thought that this was total cost. Ended up being deposit for day one! Very nice place, but at $500/ night we would have looked else where. Mixed blessing. Dinner was $100 for two. Good but not great. Felt same about Emeralds in Vegas. Perhaps...

Stayed one night in a cabin-actually a duplex. Room had refrigerator, coffeemaker, full bath. Comfortable beds and easy walking to the other attractions at Furnace Creek Ranch. Parking is right outside the cabin.

Death Valley National Park is big and centrally-located Furnace Creek offers the best lodging option to various sites within the park. The Inn is built on the side of a hill so rooms, dining, pool and parking are on different levels but all have nice views across the valley. It's hardly an elegant place but it does have some grandeur...

I enjoyed seeing Death Valley National Park and had a wonderful stay at Furnace Creek Inn, a historic inn conveniently located near the major visitor center and other attractions. My room (#224) had a balcony overlooking the gardens, and the room was attractive and comfortable as well. It had a 1930s type fireplace. Although the fireplaces currently don't work, I...

This is a review of the Furnace Creek Inn, not the Ranch. It is expensive (like everything else in DV; but it is the ONLY upscale accommodations there, as far as I could see or learn. But I found it to be very comfortable. At the restaurants, the foods was good. But be sure to make reservations for dinner as...

Nice room looking out on the golf course. Clean, pleasant and comfortable. There was a patio outside the room that afforded us sunset views with a glass of wine. This resort is located in the heart of Death Valley making it easy to explore this National Treasure.

The cabins are old but clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurants is very good. They serve large portions and often my wife and I could easily split an entrée. Yes we recommend spending a couple of days here.

It is important to understand that there are two separate places in Furnace Creek, about a mile apart and both run by the same outfit. The Ranch is a regular hotel spread out in several buildings, while the Inn is a more upscale resort a mile further south on CA190. We stayed at the Ranch. We had just spent some...
