Of course it's very cool to camp in the shadow of the formations and there is great hiking nearby but the actual campground is basically just an open lot with some shaded tables. No amenities to speak of and no fires due to the danger....More

I was able to make reservations by visiting the badlands national park website, you could do it online or over the phone.
