Stayed with a group of 18 sensible seniors on a Saturday night. Rooms are well furnished and spotlessly clean. The bed was extra comfortable and the room quiet so my wife & I slept soundly. However the three course dinner was the main event. I have had some good meals in my time BUT the Duffys come as close to...

Stayed at this very clean and tidy Motel a few weeks back and was pleasantly surprised. It is obvious the owners have a lot of pride as it was so well run and clean The best surprise of all was when we had dinner at the restaurant, all I will say is I can't wait to go back for another...

Loved the serenity. The dinner was magnificent (I certainly didn't expect duck a l'orange in Binalong)! But there are a couple of things which would improve the experience. 1. The website hasn't been updated in years. 2. A swimming pool would be nice at this time of year. 3. What about a comfy chair or two? (I don't want to...

The Royal Tara Motel was pleasantly surprising. I stayed at the motel on a girls weekend away, we were really just looking for a place to sleep and weren't too concerned about what our room was like. However, I couldn't have been more pleased with the room. The bathroom was immaculately clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff...

There are some lovely old (many underutilsed) buildings in Binalong, but the pub was closed, so the only other option for morning coffee on my bike ride was the motel - good espresso in a warm room, with very good service!

Binalong? Where's that, everyone asked me after telling them of a great little break from Sydney. More to the point - what's there to see should be your question if this place is a mystery to you. Zero commercialisation is point number 1. I'd reckon the Binalong you see today would be pretty much the Binalong of the 20th century....

Stayed as a family group. Clean, light and comfortable. Staff could not have been more helpful. . All rooms ground flr. Hard to avoid the noise of the local rooster. Crowed all night- my sister named him Lionel Ritchie! Country charm! I''d stay there again happily.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Royal Tara in a family group. It is simply a lovely place to stay. The rooms are basic, but exceptionally clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast is brilliant and the food in the restaurant is outstanding. The hosts are wonderful and the Royal Tara is really great value for money. Thank...

Returning from Melbourne we used this as the first nights stop and was not disappointed. The gentleman who received us was very helpful, the room was clean roomy and comfortable. The restaurant was closed this night and were directed to the local hotel, which presented a friendly atmosphere again with helpful staff and a pleasant pub meal. Traveling with our...

Started badly when I was given the key to my room by mine host, unlocked the door, and there was a man asleep in the bed! Made sure I used the chain on the door when I was given another room, but it was not a good feeling as a woman travelling alone. The next afternoon my friends checked in,...
