We booked 2 rooms here at very short notice and stayed for one night. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a delicious meal in the attached restaurant. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we had a really nice breakfast the following morning. We found it great value for money and would definitely stay again when...

Tired looking building thats obviously seen better days. Strange Mediterranean/Tapas style menu. My ribs arrived very quickly always a bad sign and very ordinary. Apart from my group nobody else in and if dining one is directed into a gloomy dining room away from the bar.

Spent a night there recently. The room was lovely and very reasonably priced when we turned up and asked if they still had any free rooms. Nice view over the nearby hills, clean and had everything we needed. We went for a meal in the Mediterarnean restaurant downstairs which had only been opened recently. I would highly recommend it -...

Showed to our room by a pleasant young man from behind the bar. The staircase smelled a bit damp, but the room itself was as described "cosy double". Small, but clean, although the ceiling light didn't work, so had to rely on the lamps. We were told breakfast was served between 08:30 & 09:30 and they would change the bulb....

Parked in the car park at the rear of the pub and then went on a walk up to Rylstone Cross and the Cracoe memorial before going back to the pub for Sunday lunch. I had the Roast beef and my wife the pork. Both were excellent piping hot meals served promptly by friendly efficient staff in a clean warm...

We found this pub on our way back from a walk in Buckden. Arrived at 5pm, had a drink & our food arrived at about 5.45pm. (Don't serve food until 5.30pm). We almost had place to ourselves & they have a good playlist!! I had steak & ale pie, homecooked chips, veg & gravy. My partner had root veg pie...

We had a great stay in this lovely located hideaway. The hosts were welcoming with a great sence of humour. We had a good giggle. We booked the superior room with nice bath/jacuzzi. Even tho we don't have dogs loved the fact that they did. The food was lovely. We ate later and tried the fish cakes very tasty and...

We have been to this pub many times over the years when visiting the Dales. Last weekend on a cold and snowy evening we called in for a drink. We were greeted by 2 roaring log burning stoves one in each section of the divided bar area. The walls had been painted a lovely warm red, and it just felt...
