Genuinely lovely people, welcoming and friendly. A very old cottage, with off street parking. Self-contained accommodation, or B&B. Short walk to shop, pubs and Eckington Manor. Very comfortable, excellent breakfasts. Gerald and Veronica are excellent hosts with a fund of local knowledge.

We stayed at Myrtle Cottage for 2 nights and found the accommodation, service and hospitality to be nothing short of excellent. The accommodation is lovely, and very well situated for the shop, pub and restaurant in the village, which are all within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with plenty of hot and cold choices and Veronica the owner...

I found it to be the perfect place to stay - a very pleasant location in a small attractive village in the Worcestershire countryside, private off-road parking, personal accommodation including your own front door, absolutely spotlessly clean and...

The accommodation was spotless, the layout ---master bedroom with en suite (power shower and full size bath) , and adjoining smaller bedroom, kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, sitting room with sofa, table and chairs, books, DVDs, maps. flat screen TVs upstairs and...

We only stayed one night, wish it had been longer. If you're looking for a self-contained bolt-hole in a quiet but quite delightful village this is perfect. Also as a base from which to venture. Downstairs quite small, decent size bedroom with en-suite and adjoining single bedroom. Very friendly landlady, we found the cooked breakfast perfect, and the rest of...
