This was once again a must do experience after watching Mark win professional Master Chef and believe me I can see why he won . Great choice of food to suit all cooked and served to perfection. Staff well presented polite and efficient. Excellent quirky rooms and ours was dog friendly too yay! As one would expect breakfast superb. A...

Our room in the older part of the Manor was full of olde worlde charm with all the beams, A-frames, uneven floors and so on, and the modernisation had been achieved mostly successfully within the limits of the building, but there were already some signs of wear.

Delightful old Manor House . Reception, the restaurant and bedrooms are scattered around a court yard. Bedroom (classic) was comfy and elegant but rather on the small side. White stuff toiletries , which I love, but no body moisturiser so take your own! Lovely breakfast in the converted Dutch barn.

Booked our visit here the evening that Mark Stinchcombe, one of the Head Chefs at Eckington Manor, won Professional MasterChef 2015 and have been looking forward to it ever since. There are 17 bedrooms located in a collection of converted farm buildings on the edge of the village of Eckington, along with a modern barn housing a bar and restaurant....

The food was outstanding. We were expecting great things and they were definitely delivered and more besides. But have to mention the whole package. Everyone we encountered were so helpful and friendly and our room was lovely. We loved the informality and lack of stuffiness . Even in the bar downstairs before our meal there was a lovely jolly atmosphere....

Visited as a birthday treat, keen to sample the dishes produced by the two head chefs. Stayed overnight in a very well furnished bedroom which had a comfortable lounge too. The room was of a high standard with good facilities. Our initial welcome was very warm and we were shown around the Manor, to see what was available. Dinner was...

The whole experience was most excellent. Friendly receptionists and an excellent welcome. The room, in the old stable - converted I hasten to add, was perfect, not massive but well appointed, cosy and immaculatey clean. The food was incredible, well presented with incredible attention to detail, excellent portion size and amazing flavours. The service was mostly perfect. The meal was...

Like may people, we visited Eckington having seen the chef win Professional Masterchef so we combined dinner with an overnight stay for my husband's birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were given a lovely warm welcome and shown to a beautiful room in a separate barn to the restaurant. The room was cosy and welcoming with a lovely shower...

The hospitality is amazing. The whole team make the stay fabulous. The surroundings, atmosphere and food are simply the best. The whole place was clean, comfortable and very nicely understated. We had a lovely time, and would go back again without hesitation.

Just back from a couple of days at Eckington Manor, booked primarily for the food having watched Mark Stinchcombe win Masterchef the Professionals late last year. We booked a junior suite - room 12 - nice and spacious with a roll top bath and big shower, plus a projector TV and DVD player. Easy to access the main hotel but...
