I chose to stay here because we love Mark Stinchecombe's cooking style, who won Masterchef: Professionals, and wanted to try it ourselves. He did not disappoint. Hotel itself is lovely and nicely decorated. Went for a walk down the river, it was very relaxing and peaceful. The staff was warm and friendly and very helpful.

Stayed here for a weekend with friends. We were greeted with a warm welcome and taken to our room which was fantastic - clean, fresh and spacious. And a bath in the bedroom! The following morning we strolled the delightful grounds and had booked the restaurant for our evening meal. That was definitly the right thing to do! People were...

I can hardly begin to tell everyone how very thrilled with every single aspect of my birthday celebrations at Elkington Manor we are. We stayed for the weekend and all of the staff made our stay memorable. It began on arrival with Tracy being warm, kind, accomodating and utterly attentive to our needs. Simply nothing was left to chance and,...

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist (pm 25th Feb) and all staff encountered were very pleasant. Our room was a classic room in a new building (no 6 ). It was small but had a 6 foot bed that we are used to at home, and the shower was a good strong one. The décor is amazing...

Our anniversary was this week past. We took a chance on an internet find and booked three days at Eckington Manor. We had not heard of it before and when we arrived it felt as though we had found a hidden sanctuary. Chloe and Tracy met us at reception and checked us in. You can always tell if a place...

This is real top notch cooking. The venue is very impressive and I could imagine in the summer months would be lovely. There is a concise but varied menu and the sauces which accompany each course and rich and velvety. Service is pleasant and informative. The only room for improvement needs to be remembering what each guest ordered so when the plate is...

We went for our second visit, as a celebratory meal. There were four of us. We had a corner table and were happy. The menu was very varied and exciting. Each course arrived served exquisitely. We also enjoyed the nibbles to start and the chef's amuse-bouche.......delicious. It is certainly a really special restaurant serving high quality delicious food. You leave...

Our 2nd visit after a year. Nothing has changed - if anything better. Amazing food - high quality - well prepared and the combination of flavours fantastic. A big plus to this restaurant are the staff. Very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, willing to chat during service and make customers feel completely relaxed and at home. Its a great team...

I had the pleasure of attending a corporate event at Eckington Manor on the 25th January 2017. I stayed the night prior to the event and the room was lovely and comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic. The breakfast served in the morning was very good with a great selection to choose from. The room we used for the event...

Having spent two nights at this hotel for a friends wedding, I would say this a great wedding venue. The rooms are well done, each individual, with nice touches. Very clean and some like ours had a bath within the bedroom with mood lighting. The staffs were brilliant. Friendly and well organised. The location was tranquil and rural, yet refined....
