What a lovely hotel. Arrived to a warm welcome, taken to our room to find it had a great view from the balcony down to the cove and to cap it all, the quirkiness of the bath being in the room! Very comfortable bed and wonderfully decorated. The breakfast was excellent and the food in the evenings was very good....

Very kids friendly. Lots of crayoning and noisey environment. Long queues for drinks seprate from food is very un-customer friendly. It took ages to get us all served (9 : 4 kids and 5 adults). Space for push chiars. Biggest delight for me was the quality of the cod and chips. I was convinced it must be local, and refused...

Had a 3 night break here last week. We enjoyed our stay in room 5. We had a sea view over the cove and the cliffs. Quite enthralling. The hotel was OK and the room quirky with lots of distressed fittings. Lovely hot shower! The food was good most of the time. We did have a problem on our last...

I first stayed here with my husband in Jan 2016 and had such a positive experience, I decided to visit again with my friend. We arrived early at 12.30 and we understood that it was too early to check in so we headed off for lunch. At 2.30pm (check in time) we attempted to check in but were told that...

The food was excellent when it arrived! However, we had a 40 minute wait and the order was wrong so 2 people were served and the rest of us had another 20 minute wait. Consequently we were unable to eat together as by the time our meal arrived the others had finished. We got the impression they were short of...

This is a great Hotel and Restaurant. It is very popular and booking is a must, especially during the summer months. The whole place is brimming with atmosphere and I had a job pulling myself away. The beer garden is superb as are the staff. Food is great. Do not visit Dorset without dropping in.

She checked us in, gave us our parking permit for the car park across the way. Explained the breakfast times 8.30 to 9.30am and rules about drinking in the...

Really enjoyed sitting in sun for predinner drinks. Was really lovely. Started with cheesy garlic bread which wasnt cooked followed by fish stew which had a lovely broth but was a soup with some bits in it and not a stew. Will go back for drinks in sun but not the food

We stayed here for a midweek stay for our wedding anniversary & had a lovely time. Beautiful surroundings, and if you like walking you will be in heaven with the scenery and routes available. The Pub itself services good food & has friendly staff... which is a blessing with very limited other options in the area. We stayed in room...
